Yes that looks just the same to me. Both of the roles I got that actually did anything had changes to them to make them fit in the game. I would actually like to try to lynch Fener just to see if he even has shields.
Why wouldn't he have shields? I'm not saying it can't happen, Rek is evil, but she stated he had 3, so I'd say he has 1 to 3 shields, depending on how successful his recruiting was. Maybe Amon could only recruit every other night. So nights 1,3, and 5 he recruits. He has his 3 shields to spawn on day 6. The arrival of the mothership was announced to arrive in two days on day 4, so I don't think any of the NKs had anything to do with that.
Why would he? That seems extremely powerful for this game. I'm being paranoid and worried that his faction is just claiming everyone they don't like must be his 'shields' so we lynch them and clear out the other scum faction.
Honestly at this point I would guess (guess mind you) that there were 8-9 people on each town faction and the scum factions started with 2-3 each with very powerful and/or recruiting roles. And we still have the mother fucking SK lurking about, we haven't hit them once...GIVE ME 9 VIGS A NIGHT PATH-SHAPER, DAMN YOU.
I want to hear why Sorrit thinks Ampelas and Demelain are the shields for Fener before I vote anywhere, and I want to talk, at the very least, about investigating the lowposters. Maybe I have a hard-on for Trake, but 16 posts and has been alive since the beginning of the game? Really?

Going with Lock because I think he was Korlat. Korlat was a scum necromancer, which had a recruit mechanism in the old game. Of course there's nothing for sure to say she didn't start town, because Pran Chole is a sneaky son of a bitch, but at least I believe it to be a 3rd and final alt, so we get rid of someone.
I suppose this is possible, though I do not see the reason for thinking Lock was Korlat, but I think you're right that Korlat is on their last alt, and it would be ideal to take out a player that formally had a powerful role like necromancy -- if it is anything like Amon turning into the Tyrant, we should be careful.

Not correcting Tulas here. There are almost definitely shields. Especially since we know that Amon had enough time to get at least 2 recruits before landing in the Fener alt. It would be nice to get a shield one of these days.

This is interesting, but what has been said by others since the post suggests that Sylar can be a town role, despite his character on the show. That said, I thought it was suspicious that Tulas completely ignored the post at the time, instead posting these:

Not so much as ignoring, as no real info on him. Why take a shot on a low poster, when we have 4 or 5 known scum? I also would be more inclined to finishing someone's last alt off, instead of taking out someone's first.
Even though we have yet to hit the SK, we have yet to hit any of Steves shields, you want to take out people we know aren't either of those?

Yeah, if we are looking for shields, it is no surprise that we set aside the scum list for a second or two. The issue is whether or not we consider scum more of a threat than the shields guarding tyrant, or more of a threat than the SK that has been hanging around. I feel like scum and the SK would have more dangerous night actions, more likely to kill that is. But then, Fener's shields were recruited, so who can say what kind of skills they brought with them. Rough decisions.

I'm not quite convinced that Amp and Dem are shields. The information has come from an untested source. Though it looks like a few people would like to test the theory.
Do we know for sure that Trake is on Amon's team? If so then we likely have a shield target right there. I mean, the shields are hiding among those few who were not revealed as scum as of yet. Trake fits the bill in so far as we know he is not one of the revealed scum, he keeps his head down, and if Pran Chole's info is correct, then Trake is also on the Tyrant's team (Amon's team)
