Sorry all, it's just been that kind of not-at-home weekend. Anyways:

BUILD an interceptor, a cruiser, and a dreadnaught in that hex south of 301. Will a cruiser and a dreadnaught be enough to take them out?

UNLESS if I do upgrades on ships after I've built some ships, will those built ships receive the upgrades? If not, then:

UPGRADE sentient hull on cruisers and dreadnaughts, putting the parts over the regular hull squares.

Side side note I've just bought minecraft and I am addicted

I lost about six months to Minecraft. I built a frankly ridiculously enormous underground palace. From the surface, it looked like a modest fort carved into the cliff (with a sheep-pen and chicken coop, of course), but underground it extended so many miles that I built a whole railway system to get me places. And, naturally, the entrance was disguised, which only a hidden switch could open.

Although, I'm not entirely sure who I was hiding it from...

I only had you colonize the orbital. Will colonize the materials planet, too, now.

Upgrades apply to all ships of that type immediately, whether they are already built or after you build new ones.Whenever you do anything with a ship (move, fight, whatever), it can do whatever it's current blueprints say.

Correct!

You draw the Warp Portal discovery. Since you're getting it through revelation, it would apply to your homeworld - if you use it a warp portal icon worth 2VP to whomever controls the hex is added to your homeworld. Or keep it for automatic 2VP instead.

A note on the discoveries for everyone - I had mistakenly believed there were 3 of the "+3 Money | +2 Science | +2 Materials" discoveries. Actually, there are 2 of them, and there are 2 of the Ancient Orbitals (I had the total number of new discoveries right, just the balance wrong). One of the "+3 Money | +2 Science | +2 Materials" from my list of un-drawn discoveries remained, so I changed it into an Ancient Orbital to make it right.

I didn't see a post from EM for instance.
