Republic City (7)
Tenzin (Republic City Faction)
You are youngest child of Avatar Aang and Katara and the only living air bending master. You represent the Air Nomads on the United Republic Council in Republic City, and live on Air Temple Island with your family. A calm and serious man, you have the responsibility of protecting Avatar Korra, Republic City, your family, and Air Temple Island.
Avatar Korra is [insert alt name here].
Skills
Air bending (Night Action) – Reflects one night action used against you back onto its user. If more than one ability is used on you during a night cycle, it will reflect in the following order – Kill/Guard/Incapacitate/Heal. This will not reflect Metal bending, Lightning bending, or Blood bending abilities.
Diplomacy (Night Action) – You may use this ability once every three nights. You believe that all out war against the Equalists is not the answer to Republic City’s problems. You may use your diplomatic skills to stop all Night Actions against and by members of the Republic City faction.
Meditate (Night Action) – You may use this once per game, but not until the third night cycle. This will allow you to realize how to help Korra overcome her block on her Air bending abilities. Only you are able to do this, and Korra cannot become a fully realized Avatar until she has the ability to bend all four elements. You may still use this ability if your bending has been taken away. If you are killed within the first three days, you may pass this ability on to a member of the Republic City faction. Once you use this ability, Korra will be given the Air bending ability and realize how to commune with the spiritual world.
Victory Conditions
Avatar Korra must survive, Republic City must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies.
Lin Beifong (Republic City Faction)
You are the daughter of Toph Beifong, and the Chief of Republic City's Metal bending Police Force. Although your mother taught Avatar Korra's previous incarnation how to earth bend, you have no special affection for the new Avatar when she first arrived to Republic City. Korra's reckless ways left one of Republic City's streets in ruin, making her one of the biggest threats the city had faced in recent times. However, this changes when Amon and his Equalists make their public appearance and openly challenged the benders of the world.
Captain Saikhan is [insert alt name]. You may chat with him in a thread that I have opened for you. You may not speak to him of your Resignation ability. You may not directly quote your character PM.
Skills
As a member of Republic City:
Metal bending (Night Action) – You guard a player, preventing them from performing any actions during one night cycle. Performing this action on someone with the Kali Sticks or Energy Gloves abilities will render you unable to vote for a lynch the following day, nor to use a night ability on the following night.
Earth bending (Night Action) – You use your seismic sense, an ability taught to you by your mother, Toph, to perform a find on a character. You will be given the player’s faction name. If you do a second find on the same player, you will be given the player’s character name.
Resignation – You may only perform this action after three night cycles have passed. You may do this by announcing the following on thread during a Day Cycle – “I have failed as Republic City’s Police Chief. Captain Saikhan, please take over.” You leave Republic City faction and become an independent, Captain Saikhan becomes the new Chief of Police and gains all your abilities, and you are given a new set of abilities and victory conditions.
As an independent role:
Avatar Korra is [insert alt name]. Tenzin is [insert alt name]. You may not have off thread communications with either.
Talented Metal bending (Night Action) – You guard two players, preventing them from performing any actions during one night cycle. Kali Sticks and Energy Gloves no longer affect you.
Earth bending (Night Action) – You use your seismic sense, an ability taught to you by your mother, Toph, to perform a find on a character. You will be given the player’s faction name. If you do a second find on the same player, you will be given the player’s character name.
Super Seismic Sense (Night Action) – You may only use this ability once every three nights. You sense all actions directed at you and block them. You are given the alt name (not character name) of players targeting you and ability name (not the text) of actions performed against you.
Victory Conditions
If you remain in Republic City faction: Republic City must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies
If you leave Republic City faction: Avatar Korra must survive, Tenzin must survive, all members of the Equalists organization must die.
Tarrlok (Republic City Faction)
You are the representative for the Northern Water Tribe on the United Republic Council and also serve as its chairman. You are an ambitious politician, considered fair-minded and likable by the general public; however, behind closed doors, you are a manipulative man who holds a long-standing rivalry with Councilman Tenzin. You seek to fight the Anti-bending Revolution with brute force rather than peaceful negotiation. You are willing to go to extremes to win the conflict against the Equalists, even if it means fanning the flames of aggression and risking the lives of innocent people.
Skills
Water bending (Night Action) – You may heal a target. This will prevent any night kill actions against them.
Blood bending (Night Action) – You may use this ability once every three nights. You take control of a player for one full night cycle. You are given a list of his/her abilities and you may choose which ability they must use for that night cycle.
Redemption (Day Action) – You may use this ability once per game. You have a dark secret, your father is Yakone, a powerful crime lord who threatened Republic City for many years with his blood bending abilities before they were permanently removed by Avatar Aang. Furthermore, you are almost certain that Amon is your brother, Noatak, and thus a water bender with the ability to blood bend without the need of a full moon. To trigger this ability, you must say the following on-thread: “[insert alt name], I know you are Amon, Noatak, my brother. I am sorry, but I cannot let you do this to my nation.” You will then perform a ninja action, killing both yourself and the player you have chosen, whether they are Amon or not.
Victory Conditions
You must kill Amon using your Redemption ability, and Republic City must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies.
Captain Saikhan (Republic City Faction)
You are a captain of the Republic City Metal bending Police Force. You work under Chief Lin Beifong, and rose in the ranks of the police force under her tutelage, eventually becoming her right-hand man. Because of this, you respect her immensely.
Chief Lin Beifong is [insert alt name here]. You may speak with her in a thread that I have opened for you. You may not directly quote your PM.
Skills
Metal bending (Night Action) – You guard a player, preventing them from performing any actions during one night cycle.
Victory Conditions
Republic City faction must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies
General Iroh (Republic City Faction)
You are a general of the United Forces and the commander of its first division. Furthermore, he is the grandson of the now retired Fire Lord Zuko. During the Battle for Republic City, Tenzin sent you a message requesting the support of the United Forces. You accepted the request for help and expressed your desire to reclaim Republic City alongside Avatar Korra; then led your fleet of battleships to the city. Unfortunately, when you reached the shores of Republic City, your fleet was quickly overwhelmed by a series of naval mines and high-speed aircraft.
Skills
Fire bending (Night Action) – You may only use this ability once every three days. You may choose a player and that player will be night killed. This does not bypass BPs or other forms of protection.
Victory Conditions
Republic City must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies
Hasook (Republic City Faction)
You are a water bender and former member of the Fire Ferrets pro-bending team. After a bad match, Mako admonished you, and you never showed at the final match. Avatar Korra replaced you to prevent the Fire Ferrets from being disqualified, and eventually joined the team and took the water bending position from you.
Skills
Water bending (Night Action) – You may heal a target. This will prevent any night kill actions against them.
Victory Conditions
Republic City must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies
Officer Song (Republic City Faction)
You are an officer of the Metal bending Police Force who was present during the several important police actions in the autumn of 170 ASC. You were part of the squad that raided the Sato estate in search of a hidden factory beneath Hiroshi Sato's mansion, and aided Tarrlok during his mass-arrest of non-benders in the Dragon Flats borough.
Skills
Metal bending (Night Action) – You guard a player, preventing them from performing any actions during one night cycle.
Victory Conditions
Republic City must have at least one member alive/retaining their bending abilities when Amon dies
Team Avatar (4)
Korra (Team Avatar Faction)
You were born and raised in the Southern Water Tribe, and are the immediate successor of Avatar Aang. You currently reside in Republic City, where you are learning air bending under the guidance of Tenzin. A gifted and powerful bender, you have fully mastered water bending, earth bending, and fire bending. Your aversion to the spiritual side of bending, however, hinders your ability to air bend until Tenzin teaches you to unlock it.
Tenzin is [insert alt name].
Mako is [insert alt name] and Bolin is [insert alt name]. You may have offthread communications with both in a PM that I have started. You may not directly quote your character PM.
Asami Sato is [insert alt name]. You may not have offthread communication with her.
Skills
Pro Water bending (Night Action) – You are the water bending member of the Fire Ferrets water bending team. You may use this ability to block one night action headed your way. This is not a passive ability, so you must consciously choose to use this ability. Actions are blocked in the following order: Kill/Guard/Incapacitate/Heal.
Fire bending (Night Action) – You may only use this ability once every three days. You may choose a player and that player will be night killed. This does not bypass BPs or other forms of protection.
Earth bending (Night Action) – You use seismic senses, an ability perfected by Toph Beifong, to perform a find on a character. You will be given the player’s faction name. If you do a second find on the same player, you will be given the player’s character name.
Energybent (passive) – If Amon removes your bending abilities, the spirit of Avatar Aang will Energy bend to give it back to you for the next night cycle. Your action during this night cycle will be unsuccessful.
Once Tenzin has performed the Meditate Night Action:
Pro water bending reverts to Water bending (Night Action) - You may heal a target. This will prevent any night kill actions against them.
Air bending (Night Action) – Reflects one night action used on you back to its user. If more than one ability is used on you during a night cycle, it will reflect in the following order – Kill/Guard/Incapacitate/Heal. This will not reflect Metal bending, Lightning bending, or Blood bending abilities.
Commune with the Spiritual World (Night Action) – You may only use this ability as of the fifth night cycle. You commune with Avatar Aang and other previous avatars. This will make you unable to perform another night action during this night cycle, and unable to vote (though you can still chat) during the next day cycle. Avatar Aang will teach you a new ability that will be instrumental to your winning the game.
Once Korra has used Commune with the Spiritual World Night Action:
Energy bend (Night Action) – You may use this to give someone back their bending abilities. If he or she has been recruited by the Equalists, they will join Team Avatar. If they are still a member of the Republic City faction, they will remain in that faction. If the person was not a bender to begin with (i.e. an Equalist), or if they already have their bending abilities, this action will have no effect.
In Touch With Your Spiritual Side (Passive Night Action) – You may now use two bending abilities per night (unless otherwise noted in the ability description).
Bulletproof (Passive Night Action) – If you are targeted by a Night Kill, your connection to the spiritual world will allow you to dodge it, and so it will not be successful. This ability will regenerate after the next night cycle.
Avatar state (Night Action) – You may use this every other night in conjunction with one of your bending abilities. This makes your chosen bending ability stronger (i.e. one bending ability will remain at regular force, while the second you may now use due to In Touch With Your Spiritual Side will be powered up). If your bending has been removed, this will return it to you immediately if it is being used as your NA.
This disregards the three day timer for fire bending, but resets it (so you will not be able to use your fire bending ability for another three night cycles). Furthermore, your fire bending kill will ignore any BPs or other protections. Your water bending skill will heal kills that usually ignore heals. Your earth bending skill will provide both the faction and character name of the person you are performing a find on. Your air bending skill will reflect all actions on you. You may energy bend two players instead of one.
Victory Conditions
You must unlock all five bending skills available to you. All members of the Equalist organization must die. You must not be the only bender left when Amon dies.
Bolin (Team Avatar Faction)
You are an earth bender from a multicultural family who grew up on the streets of Republic City under the protection of your older brother, Mako. You and your brother formed a pro-bending team, the Fire Ferrets, which would eventually include Avatar Korra. After the Pro-bending Tournament ended, you joined Team Avatar in an attempt to disband the Equalist organization.
Mako is [insert alt name] and Korra is [insert alt name]. You may have offthread communications with both in a PM that I have started. You may not directly quote your character PM.
Asami Sato is [insert alt name]. You may not have offthread communication with her.
Skills
Pro Earth bending (Passive Night Action) – You are the earth bending member of the Fire Ferrets pro-bending team. You describe your earth bending style as “light on you feet,” which grants you greater manoeuvrability and evasiveness during matches. If someone performs a night action on you, you dodge the action and shoot small chunks of earth at the person targeting you, incapacitating them and thus making them unable to vote to lynch the following day. This only works on the first night action sent your way, and the order of resolution is as follows: Kill/Guard/Incapacitate/Heal.
Fire Ferret (Night Action) – You may use this ability once every three nights. You send your fire ferret Pabu to play a practical joke on a player. Pabu confuses them and their Night Action target is changed to someone of your choosing. You will be told the ability name and target of someone’s action and be given the chance to provide an alternate target.
Victory Conditions
All members of the Equalist organization must die. Korra must survive.
Mako (Team Avatar Faction)
You are a firebender from a multicultural family who grew up on the streets of Republic City as an orphan with your younger brother, Bolin. You formed a pro-bending team with your brother and Hasook, but eventually Avatar Korra joined the team and took the waterbending position from Hasook. After the pro-bending games were over, you joined Team Avatar to help Korra decimate the Equalist organization.
Bolin is [insert alt name] and Korra is [insert alt name]. You may have offthread communications with both in a PM that I have started. You may not directly quote your character PM.
Asami Sato is [insert alt name], your girlfriend. You may have off thread communication with her in a separate PM from the above-noted one that I have started. You may not directly quote your character PM.
Skills
Pro Fire bending (Passive Night Action) – You are the fire bending member of the Fire Ferrets pro-bending team. You are known for your “cool under fire” bending technique, which primarily involves a series of defensive weaving and dodging patterns quickly followed by successive spurts of offense. If someone performs a night action on you, you dodge it and return fire, killing them. If this ability is triggered, any other NAs you have performed will be cancelled for this night cycle. This only works on the first night action you are targeted with in one night cycle. Order of resolution is as follows: Kill/Guard/Incapacitate/Heal. This action is subject to BPs and other forms of protection.
Lightning bending (Night Action) – You may only use this ability twice per game with at least two night cycles between uses. You may choose a player and that player will be night killed. This bypasses BPs and other forms of protection.
Victory Conditions
All members of the Equalist organization must die. Korra and Asami must survive.
Asami Sato (Team Avatar Faction)
You are the only child of the former wealthy industrialist, Hiroshi Sato. Although a non-bender, when you discovered that your father was working with the Equalists and he invited you to join him, you stuck to your beliefs and turned against him, becoming part of Team Avatar.
Korra is [insert alt name] and Bolin is [insert alt name]. You may not have offthread communications with them.
Mako is [insert alt name], your boyfriend. You may have offthread communications with him in a PM that I have started. You may not directly quote your character PM. You may not reveal that only you can kill Hiroshi Sato until the fifth night cycle.
Skills
Electrified Glove (Night Action) – You use the electrified glove that your father gave you, hoping you would join him, to incapacitate a player. Their night actions will fail, and they may not vote during the following day cycle.
Police Radio (Night Action) – You may use this ability once every three nights. You use the police radio in your Satomobile to find Equalists. This will provide you with the identity (alt name) of one member of the Equalist organization at random but not their character name.
***This ability only provided if game is larger than 15 players***
Mecha Tank (Night Action) – Aside from the Avatar, you are the only player who can kill Hiroshi Sato. You may not reveal this to anyone until the fifth night cycle and you may never reveal this on thread. Once the fifth night cycle has arrived, you may use this ability to kill Hiroshi Sato, if you have figured out who he is. If the player you choose to use this ability on is not Hiroshi Sato, the ability will fizzle and nothing will happen. If you die and Hiroshi Sato is still alive, Path Shaper will inform Korra that only in her avatar state will she be able to kill him.
Mecha Tank Armour (Passive Night Action) – This ability only becomes available on the fifth night cycle. You now have a bulletproof. If you are targeted for a Night Kill, it will fail. This ability will regenerate after the next night cycle.
Victory Conditions
Eliminate Hiroshi Sato. All members of the Equalist organization must die. Mako must survive. Korra must survive.
Equalists (5)
Amon (Equalists Faction)
You are the charismatic and mysterious leader of a revolutionary group of non-benders known as the Equalists. Your ultimate goal is to introduce equality for all by ridding the world of benders. A nimble and stealthy fighter, you are fearless in facing your opponents, regardless of their bending skills and abilities.
Claiming to be a non-bender to whom the spirits granted the ability to remove a person's bending permanently, a power previously demonstrated only by the Avatar, you have gained the confidence and support of many people with the same ideals. In actuality, you are a prodigious Northern Water Tribe blood bender, son of the escaped crime boss, Yakone. Alongside your younger brother, the former councilman, Tarrlok, you were shaped by Yakone to be a tool for his revenge against the Avatar.
Skills
Before using Desperation ability:
Remove Bending (Night Action) – You remove a character’s bending ability. They will lose all of their abilities. This does not work on characters without bending abilities. The removed abilities will not be available to them unless they are returned to them via another ability. The first bender you do this to will remain in their faction, the second will become an Equalist. From then on, a coin will be flipped. If it flips heads, the person whose bending you took away will become an Equalist. If it flips tails, they will remain in their faction.
Bulletproof (Passive Night Action) – If you are targeted by a Night Kill, it will not be successful. This ability will regenerate after the next night cycle, but only regenerates twice (so you have a total of 3 BPs).
Lynchproof (Passive Day Action) – If you are lynched, it will not be successful. This ability does not regenerate.
Unmask (Passive Day/Night Action) – You may only use this ability once. Your brother Tarrlok has told members of Republic City and Team Avatar that you are Noatakk, but you have a fake scar on your face to ‘prove’ that you were attacked by a fire bender when you were a kid, which has been the reason for your crusade against benders all along. If you are lynched, and your lynchproof has already been used, or if you are targeted by a successful kill ability, you may choose to trade places with one of the Equalists you have recruited using your Remove Bending ability. You will take over their alt, they will take over your alt, and be lynched or killed while you survive. Once you have been unmasked, you may use your Remove Bending ability twice per night cycle but any remaining BPs will be removed. Please provide a list of three players in order of preference who you would like to switch places with should this ability be triggered.
Desperation (Day Action) – You may only use this ability once. You may only use this ability after the fifth day cycle. To trigger this ability, when a lynch train is at L-1, you must say the following on thread “I don’t like where this is going!” You must then PM me your lynch target. Once someone has reached enough votes for a lynch, you will use your secret blood bending ability to take control of all voters and their votes will be redirected to your lynch target. You should only use this ability as a very last resort, because your character (not your alt) will be outted on thread as having bending abilities, so the Equalists will turn on you. You will become an independent role, be given new abilities, and it will be much more difficult for you to win the game.
Once Desperation has been used:
Remove Bending (Night Action) – You remove a character’s bending ability. They will lose all of their abilities. This does not work on characters without bending abilities. The removed abilities will not be available to them unless they are returned to them via another ability. This will no longer act as a recruiting ability for the Equalists.
Ice Bending (Night Action) – You shoot ice shards at your chosen target. This is a night kill ability, but is subject to preventative measures (heals, guards, etc.).
Water Funnel (Night Action) – When someone fire bends at you, you bend water into a funnel that shoots you up into the air and out of harm’s way. This acts as a Bulletproof, but you must activate the ability, and it can only be used once. If a NK isn’t directed at you while this ability is active, the ability will not be used. It will not block Equalist weapons, but will block any bending related NKs.
Victory Conditions
If you remain in the Equalists faction: Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.
If you leave the Equalists: You must survive.
Hiroshi Sato (Equalists Faction)
You are a non-bending, barrel-chested businessman and the founder of Future Industries. Your family lineage extends back to the first Fire Nation colonists. Your idea for the Satomobile caused you to become the captain of industry in your era. During a police search of your secret factory, you revealed yourself to be an Equalist, creating high-tech weaponry to fight against benders, and later became one of their most recognizable leaders.
Amon is [insert player alt here]. You may not have off thread communications with him.
Skills
Electrified Glove (Night Action) – You use your electrified glove to incapacitate a player. Their night actions will fail, and they may not vote during the following day cycle.
Mecha Tank Armour (Passive Night Action) – You are immune to all night kill actions. The only players who can kill you are Asami Sato and a fully realized Avatar Korra. As Asami is your daughter, and loves you, she will not try to kill you until the fifth night cycle.
Mecha Tank Blast (Night Action) – You may use this ability once every three nights. You may target two players. The first will be incapacitated. Their night action will fail and they will be unable to vote during the following day. The second player will be Night Killed. This action is subject to BPs and other similar effects.
Lynchproof (Passive Day Action) – If you are lynched, it will not be successful. This ability can only be used once.
Victory Conditions
Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.
Lieutenant (Equalists Faction)
You are Amon's second-in-command. You are an intense, disciplined fighter who augments your considerable skills with two electrified kali sticks powered by a generator on your back. No metal bender cop can withstand your attacks.
You spent the better part of your life looking up to Amon and fueling the Anti-bending Revolution. During your time with the Equalists, you have proved to be a loyal and effective second-in-command, advising your leader in every step he made, while also making sure Team Avatar was kept at bay.
Amon is [insert player alt here]. You may not have off thread communications with him.
Skills
Kali Sticks (Night Action) - You use your electrified kali sticks to incapacitate a player. Their night actions will fail, and they may not vote during the following day cycle. If the player is a metal bender, they will die.
Kali Sticks (Passive Night Action) – If a metal bender tries to metal bend on you, your electrified kali sticks incapacitate them. The metal bending will fail, and they will be unable to vote during the next day.
Bulletproof (Passive Night Action) – If you are targeted by a Night Kill, it will not be successful. This ability will regenerate after the next night cycle, but only regenerate twice (so you have 3 BPs).
Victory Conditions
Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.
Chi Blocker (Equalists Faction)
You are a member of the Equalists that utilizes chi blocking to combat benders during the Anti-bending Revolution.
Skills
Chi Block (Night Action) – You stop a bender's chi flow, reducing their muscular strength, and disabling their bending abilities temporarily. If you your target is a bender, their night action will be stopped.
Victory Conditions
Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.
Feathered Hat Man (Equalists Faction)
You are a simply-dressed citizen who was present on a steamboat that Avatar Korra used to venture to Republic City. You are often seen near the Avatar and her friends, as if you may be following them. You are later revealed to be an Equalist follower.
Amon is [insert player alt here]. You may not have off thread communications with him.
Skills
Stalk (Night Action) - Each night you may choose any alt to stalk. If they successfully perform a night action you will be provided with the Ability Name and Description of the successful Night Action.
Victory Conditions
Korra must die. All benders must have their bending ability removed, or be dead.

For those helping me mod, here's a few things to watch out for.
Please don't post night resolutions until I have confirmed them. I just wanna make sure everything is resolved correctly, and my scenes will provide hints as to who did what. No worries on resolving a lynch and leaving it blank for me to come back and post a scene later.
Order of Resolution for Night Actions: Incapacitate > Block/Reflect > Guard > Control > Heal > Kill
Certain special abilities have special rules that may supercede the order of resolution (see below).
Order of Resolution for successful Blocks/Reflects: Kill > Guard > Incapacitate > Heal
Abilities not listed above will not be blocked or reflected.
Special Abilities Rules:
• Tenzin’s Diplomacy is the first action resolved if it is used.
• If Korra uses Avatar State, her avatar state action is resolved first regardless of the Order of Resolution
• Bolin’s Fire Ferret ability is resolved prior to all actions except Amon’s Remove Bending ability, and also is not affected by Amon's remove bending ability
• Amon’s Remove Bending ability is resolved first in all cases except when Korra uses Avatar State
• Korra cannot be recruited by Amon's Remove Bending ability. She is the only player who is immune to this.
Trigger sentences to watch out for on thread:
If Lin Beifong – Emurlahn – says “I have failed as Republic City’s Police Chief. Captain Saikhan, please take over.” It triggers her Resignation ability. She becomes independent, and must be provided with her new list of abilities and Victory Conditions.
If Tarrlok – Silanah – says “[insert alt name], I know you are Amon, Noatak, my brother. I am sorry, but I cannot let you do this to my nation.” it triggers his Redemption ability. This kills Tarrlok – Silanah – and whichever alt he targets. This is not subject to BPs as they are Night Actions only, however if Amon is targeted and has not yet done his Faceless Man jump, he may do so. Even if Amon jumps, if Tarrlok targets him with this, he will be considered to have fulfilled that part of his victory conditions.
If Amon – Liosan – says “I don’t like where this is going!” it triggers his Desperation ability. A target must be at L-1 for him to trigger this ability. He will PM a new target to PS and once someone has reached enough votes for a lynch, all votes will be redirected to his chosen target. However, when this happens, the following will be posted with the lynch scene: “Amon has been outted as having bending abilities. He is no longer a member of the Equalists, and has his own win conditions.”

Comments & Questions from Liosan (Amon)
He's not just ANY man. He's A mon! Yo 'Mon, pass the weed!
How can I be both charismatic and mysterious? Don't you have to get to know me to learn how charismatic I am?
and no one is suspicious about that? Oh you know, just 'cause you have a magic skill that was previously only ever seen by a magic-user, I'm sure you're not some sort of magic user...
*Former* councilman? Stupid Tarrlok, why do you have to ruin everything!
Do I learn if the removal and/or recruitment succeeded and/or the result of the coin toss?
Wide BP or narrow BP? ie when activated does it block all NKs against me in that night or only the first?
And so regeneration goes like this: ?
Night 2 - BP activates
Night 3 - vulnerable
end of night 3 - BP regenerates
Night 4 - not vulnerable
Interesting that I would need so much NK protection when I'm the chief scum, too... I guess there'll be lots of vigs out there.
Does day end when this activates?
Fun

Nice and easy.

You will be informed if the bending was successful or not, and you will be informed if the recruit was successful or not. As Korra is not recruitable, I will not inform you if the recruit was unsuccessful by giving you the result of the coin toss, but only whether or not if it was successful.

Only blocks one NK action

As I said, the Equalists start the game out horribly outnumbered, and yes, there are quite a few kill abilities out there. That being said, you're not the only player who will be difficult to kill.
Does day end when this activates?
Yes

1 - Yes, you can talk about your abilities, you just can't directly quote your PM.
2 - You can talk about anything you want in the offthread comms, the only thing you can't do is directly quote your PM.
3 - Yes.

So it looks like I need Kaschan to target me and kill all Equalists. I am guessing that Tenzin doesn't know who I am. hmmmm how to signal.
Questions:
1. I can't quote PM, but can I talk about my abilities? Can I say: "I get a NK every 3rd night" or is that illegal.
2. Can I let Atrahal and Galain know who Asami and Tenzin are? (or do they know this already)
3. Can I tell my team my forum name?
I think that's it for now. I'll let you know if I have more questions later.

Questions & Comments from Anomandaris (Hiroshi Sato)
The second one. For example, if you use the ability on Night 1, you cannot use it again until Night 4. If you use it on Night 2, you cannot use it again until night 5. etc.
He has no possibility of a lover connection later, but I did not put this in a response, as it would be giving him information that no one else has, and I felt it was better to be fair about that.

Is it the possibility of me having lover connections later on?
The "once every three nights" ability, is it like one use in night 1-3, another in 4-6 or one use any night next use night n+3 ?

Question 1: Hasook. Is there any reason to think that s/he is in the game, has a grudge, joined the equalists, or is that just flavor?
Question 2: Different off thread comms implies that Bolin/Atrahal and Korra/Osseric do not know of the lover connection I have with Asami/Tennes?
Question 3: The Korra and Asami must survive VC. Is Asami survival part of the Bolin/Korra VCs or just an addition to mine?
Question 4: Pro Fire Bending (passive NA) it only works the first time I'm targeted by NA EACH night or first time period?
Question 5: Pro Fire Bending (passive NA) Do positive NAs trigger this? I.e. if somebody puts a heal on me, is this just going to fry them?
Question 6: Since we're teammate I assume that it's safe to discuss my abilities with them?
You are known for your "cool under fire" bending technique" seems to imply that a "haha, first time somebody targets me, they're in for a rude surprise" is ok. What about the "I have a non restricted kill ability but can only use it twice and have to be at least 2 days in between uses."

Play and find out
Question 2: Different off thread comms implies that Bolin/Atrahal and Korra/Osseric do not know of the lover connection I have with Asami/Tennes?
You, Bolin, Korra and Asami are all on the same team, but Asami is your girlfriend, and in the show she doesn't technically join Team Avatar until like 4-5 episodes in. You are welcome to discuss this connection with your teammates.
Question 3: The Korra and Asami must survive VC. Is Asami survival part of the Bolin/Korra VCs or just an addition to mine?
It's an addition to yours. You are basically immune to NKs, so I added an extra VC to your character to make the game a bit tougher for you.
Question 4: Pro Fire Bending (passive NA) it only works the first time I'm targeted by NA EACH night or first time period?
First time EACH night.
Question 5: Pro Fire Bending (passive NA) Do positive NAs trigger this? I.e. if somebody puts a heal on me, is this just going to fry them?
Triggered by ANY NAs sent your way. Order of resolution is used if you are targetted by more than one NA.
You are welcome to discuss anything with your teammates, you just aren't allowed to directly quote your PM

Design is pretty cool, Blend. I like how you set up roles to possibly break away and make the more flexible for game play. Should be some manic action this game!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Thanks! I'm hoping it's gonna be a fun game. I took a lot of time studying all kinds of different roles and trying to really balance all the factions out while staying as true to Legend of Korra as I could. I had a really hard time digging up enough Equalist characters, most of the Equalists are unnamed (thus why there are characaters like Chi Blocker, Lieutenant and Feathered Hat Man. They simply didn't have names beyond those in the show). I'm excited to see how things go!

I am hoping that people get the idea that when they find an Equalist, they have to hammer them incessantly to kill them. And I am interested in seeing how the incapacitates work out. The Equalists have the potential to really hurt the other factions if they can get their acts together quickly enough.

A few NA provisionals:
Kaschan (Tenzin)
Anomandaris (Hiroshi Sato)
Seeing as Kaschan is using Airbending, the kill ability will reflect back onto Hiroshi. Hiroshi is immune to NKs, and his Mecha Tank Blast is subject to BPs and other similar effects, he will not be affected. Already this is fun!
From Karosis (Feathered Hat Man)
Seeing as Galain is Mako, unless he decides to use his Lightning Bending ability, or is targetted by an ability that triggers his Pro Fire Bending ability (only Kill/Guard/Incapacitate/Heal trigger the ability), then Karosis will get no info.

3.I want to have my NK back as soon as possible, judging by the numbers I have a very good chance of killing an enemy by this ability.
My current Strategy: *try* to find a lover pair.because I strongly suspect Korra and my daughter are lovers and I have to kill both of them to be safe...

Just noticed something on Tenzin's role abilities:
I just realized something. Please take Metal bending out of the non-reflects. Metal bending is a guard ability, which your reflect IS effective on.
Basically, you reflect anything that is a Kill, Guard, Incapacitate or Heal. Any abilities that don't fall under one of the four above-noted abilities will not be reflected.
Apologize for any confusion.

I hope the whole Osseric/Liosan having the same avatars bit gets dropped. They're the two power players, it would suck to have them revealed so early in the game!

Asami/Mako Offthread Comms
Interesting, not sure if I've seen that tactic before. I wonder how many people will spot it. Presumably Korra and Bolin know who we are, but what if you're targeted by Republicans? Ah, but I guess that sig could be interpreted as both meaning Republic city and the Equalisers (is that their name?), so I'd go with it
And yeah, I didn't request a faction from Blend, I'm just happy to play
Heh, I had a feeling you would have comms with them - as I was told who they were, but that I won't have off-thread comms with them.
I guess coz you lot are benders and I'm not. Stupid benders
Who am I speaking to, by the way? You never said.

Seems we're an item.
What do you make of this: "There are a few roles that can break away from their factions and become independents. "Combined with "Tenzin and the Council work with citizens of Republic City, alongside Team Avatar, to stop the Equalist movement before they can remove bending from the world, though not everyone agrees on how."
that seems to imply that some anti equalists are squeemish about ends justifying means.
But, does it imply a recruiting mechanism for the Equalists?

Hey hey boyfriend!
What it sounds like to me is separate or unique victory conditions. I know mine get quite specific, although they do not contradict the VCs of Team Avatar.

In the interests of full disclosure with my lover boy, I have an ability which can make night actions fail, and stop people from being able to vote. I know who Korra and your brother Bolin are..and I've just read you leave me for Korra in the series, you traitorous bastard
I also have other abilities but am not allowed to talk about them...yet.
Basically, it's pretty important that I survive to night 5, so if there's any way you can help with that, I would much appreciate it.

Oh also in answer to your question, I think it's like Blend said - this is both a faction game and town vs scum. Republic are nominally allied with us, but they don't necessarily need us to achieve their VCs.

The first time anyone targets me with a NA it backfires on them. Literally. Crispy critter. Apparently even a heal can set it off.

More Asami/Mako offthread comms
I knew you were Gnaw! You know how I knew - because you were the first to post, you're always an eager beaver
Yeah, I was thinking there might be eavesdropping, which is why I was writing Korra and Bolin rather than using their alt names, just in case. Although I guess any eavesdropping wouldn't be happening yet - I'm a paranoid sort
We know six? You, me, Korra, Bolin, Tenzin...who's the other? As I said, the only ones I personally knew the alts of were you, Korra and Bolin.
Ok, well, I've told you what I can do. I can make someone's NA fail, whatever the NA is. And then they also can't vote the next day. Codename it 'penguin'.
And, as I said, I become much more useful after night 5. Only I can't say what exactly until then. Should I survive until then. I think I can handle not getting lynched, usually not something I get tangled up in. But if Osseric/Atrahal have any other things which can help me not die until night 5, I'd be much obliged.
No, I didn't see it unfortunately. From all the back in my day stuff, could be Bubba.

Sorry. Gnaw.
No, I can whack somebody two times. 3 nights apart. Oss thinks there might be a eavesdropping mech later so he's codenamed them. This is monkee. He has a monkee with the 3rd night ability but without the twice only restriction. She's a finder. Also, knows that Kaschan is Tennzin. So that's 6 of 13 that we know of. With a TMDI of 10+ that sorta implies serious mindfucking things will happen. Simply statistically we could win the game by lynching randomly and monkeeing 2 tonight. Somehow I don't think it's going to be that easy.
