You could have argued for an Anomandaris lynch and recruited somebody tonight no? Something like that, your lynch wasn't set in stone. I had major doubts about Tennes for most of this game and okay'd Spite earlier which would have given you some room to work in. It just feels like you've thrown in the towel.

Constant guards = no recruiting

Even as Liosan a few of us didn't know you would turn up as Amon. Can you fault Spite's play? How about others like Ano who didn't really try to re direct traffic/lynches? Your defense was non existant as Galain.

Any defenses put up by Galain are going to be countered by someone revealing as Korra and saying they *know* the former Galain was Mako.
The victory conditions for town + Team Avatar don't bite each other, so they have no reason to not roll with that.

So Galain dies, Ano dies, that leaves you Spite?

No killing abilities that by pass guards ha ha.

I don't know what PS wants to do then.

This IS Blend's first stab at designing and running a game. Some of you have had imbalanced games in the past. You live and learn.

I am not going to harp about design until I see the full spoiler thread :( Even then, my criticism will be positive - although I will say this does not necesarily go for my PMs - there was some headbashing in them.

You will be guarding, incapacitating, blocking et cetera the shit out of me, then try to lynch me.

Alternatively, P-S can call the game and proclaim the Equalists losers, saving us some alt-hopping.

Off-thread comms for Team Avatar were more complicated than you think. For instance, when you recruited Galain, I was cut off from everyone else - so in that sense it was a very good recruitment, just a bad choice to FM jump into. I know that you didn't have another choice, but that's because, I think, I was blocking you every night (including disabling your ability to vote). The one night I wasn't successful is the night you recruited Galain. So in that sense, that was just sensible play on my part :(

Also, we didn't know you were Amon straight away, just equalist. But the way that Spite came out convinced us that you were someone we should really worry about, so we then took a closer look.

You can at least take solace in the fact that by killing Mako you made me fail my personal VCs :(

If we happen to fail at lynching Galain for whatever reason, obviously all/any killing abilities should be directed at Galain.

If we do lynch Galain, then go for Spite.

Anyone with ability blocking/guarding abilities should direct them at Anomandaris.

Yeah, you got failrly unlucky night one. After night one it was just convincing everyone the right thing to do without being to obvious. I would argue that town was very stubborn and our logic in convincing them went batty because they WEREN't sheepling like usual.

The town = sheeple thing is indeed different if 4 of you were co-ordinating. That's half the votes you needed for a lynch... Even so: better arguments would have helped you guys a lot - the chosen avenue was just so full of shit that even someone with a cold would have smelled it.
Well, let's put it this way: I operated under the idea that Team Avatar could not communicate/ didn't know each other, and was really surprised at the amount of people supporting Galain and attacking me without seeing some sort of reason in my arguments. Being able to bring to bear the pressure of 4 people to attack someone on day 2 is quite a bit - it's way better than what I could do to defend Liosan. I had a reason why i came out so strong. When I learned he'd FM, I wallbashed.

It was the start of day 2. There was almost nothing to pin Liosan with based purely on posts, except bullshit. I think Galain did well coming up with anything at all.

You try making a strong case based solely on day 1 posts :(

The Ruse-Lio interaction end of day 1 was decent to go on, and would have fit a day 2 case - would have been the best day 2 case of the bunch, too. Yes, we might have de-railed it without all the extra stuff, and an inno may have been lynched instead, but you could just bring it up and up, and it would have accumulated enough steam that way at roughly the same pace.

My opinion was that Galain had done a role (name) find, didn't want to reveal finder, and thus made a complete and utter bullshit case based on the find result.

You need a (sure-fire) kill to take out a revealed finder :(
