I'm fine with a trailer not telling me very much, which is the point of a teaser (and hell, I long for the good old days when a trailer didn't tell you everything), but that's not my problem with it- it's that it seems to me to so strongly be calling out for the audiences of those other films that it doesn't show much of a personality of its own. And in my mind that's exactly the point of a teaser - give an idea of the flavour of the film without telling you anything.
Essentially, despite looking kick-ass, this hasn't really made me anticipate the film more than I already was.
Yeah, I think I look too much into trailers sometimes.
