Musing on the fact that I don't like given names that end with 'es'. After twenty minutes, I've failed to think of a single one I like.

James, Charles, Hermes, Frances, Andres, Miles, Giles etc.

In the end, I managed to come up with two names that I do like - Gates and Diogenes.
My morning was full of entertainment, obviously.

Lying in bed trying to decide if I should have pie for dinner. (It's been a slow day.)

My dad's car was broken into, and the thief missed his wallet, and everything in his glove box, and only stole a canvas bag with some ungraded homework from his students in it.

I am baffled.

Trying to answer the 'if you could invite any five people to dinner, living or dead, etc' question but I can't seem to think of more than two guests.

I mean, I can think of the usual answers ie Jesus, Hitler, Darwin, Lincoln etc but none of them are people I'd particularly want to sit down with in a social context. One-on-one for sure but not so much in a group situation.

So far my dinner party consist of myself, Sorkatani and Hannibal Barca.

I'm positive I'm overlooking obvious people.

My sister is getting straight married on Friday and I am trying to think of something to write in her card that isn't all goofy. I was thinking "Have a hella good marriage!" but is that too sentimental?

I didn't know you think there should be a difference between straight and homosexual marriage. You learn something new every day.

I'm trying to figure out why spellcheck does not work in Word 2010 on one citrix server and it works on all the others. Joy of Joys!

I didn't know I described what should or shouldn't be in any way whatsoever. And I still don't know it, since it never happened.
