Although, I just read it again. I guess 'you do not consume' just means you the player, not any retainers you might have too.

The tax collector wants what is his: 500 dinari per player, please.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

it is indeed just the player. On the other hand, it means you can't die from a lack of water. Which can be pretty cool.

So it's day 4 and we have 16 players ergo we're finally at the proper numbers as if we had started with 19 and lynched everyday

That Poison the Wells title is some powerful stuff. Quests definitely seemed to be themed towards/intended for certain factions.
I dunno this one doesn't seem quite as faction-specific as the last one was for the NP - the rewards could be pretty universally helpful though the item is obviously more for Khans. You think this one is mostly for Khans? It would go with the extensive movement requirements I think (they have horses - I guess maybe they can move farther?)

Sometimes, mortals astound me. The Red Inquisition has been assisting Silenah in rolling up a smuggling network. Her being the Qadi of Sweet Corruption, I more or less expected her to try and reorganize the gangs into a more efficient, more criminal organization under her own control. Instead, the fools gathered for one last banquet, where they all committed suicide by drinking poisoned wine, apart from their leader, who ran. It might be that he poisoned them himself, it might be that they did it voluntarily - but they all died where they sat, bloated purple faces with black tongues lolling, too swollen to be contained by their slack jaws. I can't believe there wasn;t one of them who didn't drink it, or one who tried to vomit the contents of his stomach up when his fellows started dying. Silenah is in an extremely bad mood. She plans to score the desert with the Blood Guard, to send Inquisitors to Ishktar, the City Guard to comb out the Quarter of the Coin and the Palace Guard to force their way into the Mahesh Quarter. For a moment, I was tempted to allow her, but I know what kind of damage she can do when let loose. Instead, I went to see the man held under house arrest. I really wonder how he managed all he did, just a single man. He has paid for the crime of stirring up revolution and I looked into his soul and found more crimes there, but he can serve me still, in one capacity or another.
The Mahesh Quarter
Since Atif became a member of the Hand, the Mahesh Quarter is a hideout of choice for those who fear the City Watch. The Mahesh do not hide or harbour criminals, but the paperwork needed to acquire a target between the Mahesh own guards and the City Guard is often the difference between disappearance and capture.
Production Cost: 2 Wood, 2 Bricks, 2 Slaves, 1000 dinari.
Once per game, become immune to guards and lynches for one entire day/night cycle.

Is Silenah and Silanah the same person?
My "assumer" seems to be malfunctioning a lot lately. Every time I use it, I end up in a bigger mess than I was before hauling the damn thing out of the trunk.

Doesn't matter much anyways. For one he probably can't do it again and for two we've almost definitely got his identity figured out so we don't even need a CF on him. We can lynch him or look elsewhere today equally.

Big difference. The building is a once per game use. It's cheap enough to build another one, but I have no idea if that's legal; in a survival game, that would seem to be a bit OP to allow multiple buildings.

Building is a once per game use. Any GoB can build it (assumption).
Which, I think, means that there might not be as many GoB in the game as originally thought. Somebody early on said that GoB might have more people because they start underpowered. That one LP for every one of them means they are a tad less underpowered than originally thought??
Whereas the honor guard is a retainer. and cheap too. But unique, so only one at a time.
Mahesh Honor Guard
3 CS
3 LS
2 WC
3 Slaves + 2 Worship + 1 Armor --> 1 Mahesh Honor Guard
Unique (you can control only 1 Mahesh Honor Guard).
Special 1: Whenever you would die, Mahesh Honor Guard is destroyed instead. This does count as a Lynch Proof.
Special 2: Pay 2 Worship and 6 Water. Mahesh Honor Guard consumes 2 less Water, permanently.

You make a good point. The Mahesh Quarter is cheap as is the Honor Guard (Due to Mahesh Volunteers Atif doesn't need to pay slaves for anything), and so with so many easy LP's in a game centered on lynches there probably won't be many GoB players. Especially if Atif as one of the most powerful thieves is in the game.

Uhoh. My "it would be OP to let them build multiple quarters" hypothesis just took a giant hit.
The Training Pit
The training regimen of the Daughters and Guardians is extremely harsh. A subterranean trap course through a sewer system eventually leads to a candle-lit arena, where the assassins can spar against one another, often with sharp steel in hand.
Production Cost: 2 Sandstone, 2 Weapons, 2 Worship, 1000 dinari
You have +2 Combat Strength while built. You cannot own more than 1 Training Pit.
