Look at that, Tellan came back on when he was the subject of a little pressure and now the thread is active again .

remove vote

vote Tennes

lets see if we can make this work again. Worst case is Tennes gets voted off, best case, he comes back from lurking and will contribute to the thread.

I just saw this... Was there any suspicion on tennes before this? or did OE just confuse Tennes with Tellan

He was jumping in with the random votes on me to "pressure me" into showing up and participating (which magically worked because I arrived). But, why Tennes and not Anomandaris or Emurlahn?

I'm willing to give Emurlahn a bit of a pass as he mentioned that he would be extremely limited most of the first couple of days. But Tennes with all of 6 or so posts definately needs some scrutiny.

According to your spam-o-meter, which is ridiculous, but whatever, Emurlahn has one post of substance. Why you voting Tennes, Olar and not Emu?

It's not ridiculous, it's actually very scientific. Ahem. In any case, I didn't just randomly decide, I spent a lot of time reading over every single post. So ;)

Sorry, there are some conflated thoughts there. That was more a question of Olar and a jab at the spam-mometer.

Was it just me or did Tennes get some heat yesterday as well as one of the possible mod-kills that racked up a couple votes?

Thank you for that. And my issue should be resolved tomorrow. One more night of observation. (RL, not game)
I've been able to keep some idea of what has happened.
If it's any consolation my behind the scenes stuff has suffered just as badly.
Has anyone done any faction count math that they'd care to share? Taking into account the modkills?

General consensus seems to be 3 players per faction, plus one lonesome Qadi. Obviously, two or maybe just one very unlucky faction are down a member (or two).

Given that this game is going to be more fun with active players, and given that it will be played mostly behind the scenes and that it is necessary to play to do that, I am going to throw the suggestion out there that we should just lynch one of the people who are gonna get mod-killed. That way it's a little less likely to break the game if they get mod killed.

On that note,

vote Tennes

He is the first one I notices as not having checked in. Who are the others? I am thinking Fener, Korvalain, Tulas Shorn? Anyway, if people like this idea for a Day 1 lynch, I would be willing to move my vote amongst those players. If not, well I am open-minded, but I don't really see any great cases right now.

This count was a little later on after Path-Shaper clarified Tennes had already been around and people jumped onto players who hadn't arrived yet.

Quote

2 Votes for Tulas Shorn ( Karosis, Ampelas )

Though P-S said the characters lived on, which means some people received their production / abilities, or something along those lines.

Most of these votes just strike me as people trying to look like they are doing something, when in reality, they aren't. That is much more suspicious to me than my blatant "I don't know who my fucking faction are so I need a decent reason to vote for someone and won't just to look active" stance is. But, I might be biased.

Their characters and abilities will more likely live on in the Madeena Universe, not in this specific game. Otherwise you might unbalance other players.

Fuck it.

Vote Tennes

He's not the spammiest according to the percentages, but in terms of spam/total posts, he's equal worst, and he has the least posts.

Fact is, people need to start dying if this game is to progress. There's a small chance Tennes might be in my faction, but...double fuck it.

Just to point out, I'm not in any rush to lynch, there's some 20 hours or more left. But I do feel there should be a lynch today.

No, he removed his vote on Tellan and put it on Tennes. I don't know why Tennes though - maybe because of those with one post of content, Tennes is the one with the fewest number of posts overall? Dunno.

This. I wasn't going by the spampost though he was high. I was going by fewest posts overall

Or we are trying to get the thread rolling.

It seems people are trying to make this into the equivalent of last game which was very bazaarcentric. This game is factions. Based upon my role, I very much doubt that my faction has much killing power. Hence me wanting to lynch someone. As thats the only way my faction has any chance of winning.

Could be either. From what i've seen, I'm willing to bet Tapper had solutions ready for modkills.
Have to head back out. I will be back.
Oh. Ruse silence/charades thing. The first couple of pics made me think a heal will cure it. Either that or Chuck.

Thought Tapper mentioned something about transferring those abilities elsewhere. I might've misread it though.

I just had a crazy thought.

What if we did something crazy like all the top 9 posters form an on thread alliance and start speed lynching all the low posters until people start getting their mafia on. That would get peoples attention. Though that would be a dumb way to approach the game but this thread needs a serious jolt.
