Whoever bought contract C9R, I've just been informed by PS that it is an illegal contract and invalid, so don't get all excited.

Price war on magic now.

I wish there was something other than the Bazaar to talk about ;)

So are we to infer from this that you listed the contract? You were also the first person to point out the mistake in it. Innnteresting.

If it was my contract, and I was the first to point it out, don't you think I would have just changed it to include a price instead of fucking around? What good would that do me? I think you need to think it through before you type :p

And no, I did not buy it - I just had the curiosity to inquire of PS whether it was even legal to buy. I'm surprised PS didn't just remove it.

As for lynch candidates...I'm going to make a SPREADSHEET which will calculate who has the highest percentage of spam per total amount of posts. A novel take on the low-poster hunt I would say B)

I don't think you are allowed to edit your own contracts after you post them, so it makes total sense that a fuckup like that would have to be cleared by P-S before anyone could touch it. So no, I don't think you would have changed the price at the risk of a modkill or bankruptcy or something.

And as you were the first to post that P-S said the contract was invalid and you told whoever bought it "not to get excited", you still seem like the person who posted it, even what you say is true.

Also, go for the spreadsheet and post it here so we can analyze it and make a nice, solid, mathematical lynch choice. :p

No, someone said that since right before I showed up there was a slave market opened in the northern desert, I must be in the northern desert.

Lets keep the random rumors about me straight shall we ;)

Oh right that was Tulas. My bad.
(Yeah Tulas is IMO an HoA player who was offering the illegal contract)

Rumours that the monasteries in the Northern Desert are rife with worshippers of the Ancient Gods are common at the best of times, but thy're even worse in times of crisis. One of the holy men of the militant Crescent sect is making a killing by raiding the monasteries, branding their inhabitants as heretics and selling the monks as slaves. A remarkably unscrupulous business, and one can only hope they run into some mad wizard hermit that will burn them to a cinder, but at the same time, the scrappy lands at the edge of the Desert now have something representing irrigation.

A Slaver Camp is established in the Northern Desert.

Betcha Fener's in the Northern Desert.

Why do you think that?

Cause the slaver camp appeared just after Fener signed in for the first time. I know it could just as easily have been set up by someone else to throw the blame on Fener, or by someone having just sold something on the bazaar, so only then being able to afford it, but it just seemed like odd timing to me is all.

Hyperbolic reasoning go >>> as karosis says Fener is in the Northern Desert. From the opening scene people in the northern desert could be CoV or Qadi. Fener needs lots of slaves? Why? Because he is the Qadi with a monster human-eating djinn that he needs to feed a bunch of slaves to to summon???!!!

You are entirely wrong that I was the person to make these comments about Fener and you even responded to those comments and addressed the person by name (Karosis). So, what's with the slip? Explanation required.

Nono nothing like that. You and Fener both arrived on-thread today around the same time and I got my meta reasonings mixed up between you two B)

No, see the underlined above. That's what I was referring to. You very clearly contradicted yourself and were also totally wrong. I arrived on thread yesterday after this discussion about Fener had already been started, so again, reasoning flawed. So, what's your explanation, again?

I see. Well, I can't really speak to anything about the Bazaar before I showed up, since I don't know how fast or when any of the items on there when I arrived were listed. But anyway, I didn't see you make a post about this before, like you're inferring - quote me?

You folks keep bringing up the "he posted right after X happened...he must be (insert bad lynchable offense here)"

After the first incident I think people would be smart enough to cloak their actions. But maybe I am giving people too much credit.

Tulas Shorn was a little slow to the game but he has sure made up for it today. Stirring it up against Ruse and Atrahal. Me Likes

I'm thinking most of the trouble with getting a lynch going is that most people are afraid of making cases on someone else because in doing so it will give something away about themselves that can make you a target by eveyone in that alliance.

Right now I think the best way to make cases are to target those that are likely to have night kill abilites ala normal mafia. Else those of us with non lethal roles will get slaughtered.

Since this is the approach I'm going to take I think it's time to start putting pressure on a few people and get this game more like mafia. Tellan was a very slippery devil yesterday. He was around and posted quite a bit but didn't really want to contribute to the discussion much. So I'm thinking he wants to lay low and not give too much away because he thinks that he can best take out his enemies in the evening. So Tellan what are you hiding? Some kick ass night kill abilities where you just want to lay low and hide and take down your enemies behind the scenes?

vote tellan

we've got to start somewhere.

Plus it's total meta and Tapper didn't want it used in cases. It can't help but be used as reason for night actions but it can't be used on lynch trains.

only 3 posts ago I weighed in on the lynch/non lynch argument.

Take that Ruse! I'll expect a shiny new foundation delivered to me on the morrow.

That wasn't my point. We still don't know who put up those goods. My point was that to insinuate it was someone who posted close to the same time as when those goods went up..well, I don't buy that as a valid point. Thats all I am saying. If you want to use it to build a case on someone, fine, but I shall fart in the general direction of your case and taunt you a second time.

Someone put up everything from G13 to G19 and didn't even bother to disguise it - same formats (no space before the hyphen) and lettered sequetially.

People aren't as subtle as you think!

Yeah, I agree with this. The person posting those goods doesn't have to be posting on thread, you know. Regardless of how obvious they want to be about being linked to selling multiple goods, it doesn't tell us anything about who put them up, and neither does the posting/timing of posting on thread.

You folks keep bringing up the "he posted right after X happened...he must be (insert bad lynchable offense here)"

After the first incident I think people would be smart enough to cloak their actions. But maybe I am giving people too much credit.

You're giving too much credit.

I mean look at it right now:

I saw that list of goods too. The people who came on to post right around that time were Ruse, Tulas, and Galain. Tulas is making a fuss about it not meaning anything, so it was probably him who posted those ;)

The funky contract re-appeared too and galain isn't around anymore...
