I don't see why the alliance is such a big deal for people already. Speaking for myself personally, I have little to no idea in what faction the vast majority of people are in - and I would think that's the case for most people, whether they're in the alliance or not. As far as I'm concerned, priority is not lynching my own faction, with all others - alliance or non-alliance - secondary.

In any case, I would be surprised if we didn't see a couple of further alliance proposals on day 7.

It matters because as soon as one alliance has numbers, and people start getting outed, they can steamroll the thread. Much harder to do this as a faction of 2-4 than an alliance of 6-10. ( not sure what numbers are, but assuming 2-4 person factions.)

You're right and likewise I don't *know* what faction anyone else is in. But I have a nice little wobbly-circle diagram that I move the names around whenever something jumps out at me. I'm sure 90% of it is wrong but it's better than just aiming blindly. So even though we don't *know* what faction anyone else is we can try and make smart guesses and act on them.
