That's the first hour of the game. I'm assuming that the Bey and SoC slaver camp were Action PMs sent in pregame.

But tax collector isn't announced for another 40 minutes.

Only Galain, Atrahal and spite had posted. Spite's first post of "I'm here, going to work" was five minutes before the Tax Collector announcement.

While it is possible that PS had a PM from somebody saying "do X 54 minutes after the game starts", I think it was Spite.

The tax collector could just have easily sent it in to P-S then waited a few hours to check in, as Telas did.

Could be. but the next person to check in was Ano, an hour and a half later.

I can't remember the part about the dawn,about it being each day and about it being automatic.

I am willing to switch, but I still strongly prefer Karosis over Tellan. If it comes time to hammer, ok. But they are one vote apart. I don't understand the mass swing from Karosis at L-1 to Tellan, which is why I'm hesitating.

The tax collector has always collected shortly after dawn / day is resolved. I assumed it's dawn since it's instant but it could just as easily be the start of day--true enough, regardless of how technical a distinction that would be. But my point still stands, you'd have to be retarded to have not expected the tax collection. If you got a little money AFTER dawn, does that mean you expected the tax collector to collect at dawn???
