It has more to do with yesterday I think. 3 or 4 people were doing all the talking while the anon count was consistently 8+. I saw it hit 12 once.
Spite nonlynch does appear to have shown that somebody wanted to keep spite alive. Other than spite of course.

I think some of the reason for that is people who play a lot of the game off there phones stay logged in on the page and so it looks like they're online all the time when they are busy.
