I figure Korya Delath is Korlat, and Ben Adaephon Delat is the son of Arathan and Korlat.
Didn't she say that she had one other love aside from Anomander and WhiskeyJack? Do Korlat and QB ever meet in MBOTF?
I've only read the series through once, and all within the last year, so my recollection of details may be lacking, but it would explain QB's ability to gather souls (inherited) and well as his reference to Mother Dark in TCG.
Someone lemme know if this is a ridiculous proposition.
or Arathan and Feren? I doubt she died @ the battle between the BS's and Draconus's HB's.

Korlat hasn't been born yet.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

After Orfantal and after Sandalath Drukorlat has something awful happen to her while she's a hostage, likely as a result of that something awful. Which has not happened yet as of FoD.

Not to mention you'd think that sometime during Memories of Ice Korlat would have taken some time to have a good old family reunion with her son.

I think people read too much into some of the naming Erikson does. There have been numerous people throughout the series who have similar-sounding names yet are not related in any way.

Then again, we do have things like Keruli/K'rul from time to time as well.
uhm, that should be 'stuff.' My stiff is never nihilistic.

I agree...SE knows that Quick Ben's identity (identities?) are one of the main "big questions" out there, and I don't think we're meant to know yet. Delath just seems like a red herring teasingly hurled our way.

Didn't Bottles grandmother show him about dolls?
And I wouldn't be shocked if Quick is a Mhybe of some sort. The whole forging of the bridge burners across Raraku seems fishy and always has.
