Factory building is awesome. I now have a dual-macerator carbon plate machine and an advanced-alloy machine. Carbon plate machine takes coal as input and spits out the plates. Advanced alloy machine only takes completed ingots at the moment
Next up will be a macerating/smelting machine to supply ingots of different types from raw ores.
MALAZAN TEKKIT! Like malazan minecraft, except minier and craftier....and malazanier?

I was hoping tekkit would be incentive for folks to get back online, but sadly it is not.

I've had a week on holiday and this week is totally consumed by setting up/serving/taking down at our local beer festival, what little time I have spare has been going into XCOM this week, I should start to be back more often from Sunday/Monday - I need a project though, any suggestions?

I built a crazy looking INGOTRON - insert ores, receive ingots. All with buildcraft. Technically not the *most* efficient thing, but it looks fuckin cool when it's running!
I'm about to build a massive Equivalent Exchange "power flower" diamond maker on the roof of the office tower. It will serve as both beacon and a source of infinite materials. I expect it will take most of current diamond stores to build, but once complete...who cares? Then it's on to some of the fun EE stuff like rings and redmatter armor.
Mess, we should convert the sorting machine into a junk-from-inventory sorter now that the quarries are no longer really needed. That way we can just unload crap from inventory and have it all go to convenient categories, or be broken down in the energy condenser (like for dirt and cobble and gravel, etc...).
We also could tear down the current house and do something cooler with the space. Maybe a trainyard... I notice your railcraft rails run quite a ways and then just terminate. It also seems that when you hit a termination of high-speed rails without something to slow you down, you blow up...
