Says it was just released October 3rd. I haven't seen anyone else mention it here, so. You can listen to the first 5 minutes for free. None of the other books are out yet, but it's a nice start! 29 hours unabridged. Whew!

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Good morning,
I got it a few days ago, and I must say I like it. Although I have been listening to the first 2 chapters only so far. The voice of the reader is quite good.
Amazon.de does not have it yet, only Amazon.com. And hopefully they make the other books as well. I listen to audiobooks while driving.

I'm wondering if the price ever decreases substantially for digital... The nice thing about physical media is that you can wait a couple of years and get it at bargain basement prices. I'd love to switch to digital audiobooks, but it looks like it would (currently) cost at least three times more.

Yep. I couldn't find the offer on the site proper, but just Google "Audible.com free book" and you'll see lots of links. The free book comes with a 30-day trial membership that you can cancel before the trial expires, otherwise you start getting charged the monthly fee.
