You either team up with Germany and attack France or the other way around and pray they aren't really teamed up against you. Or you can ignore them both at first and attack Russia. It's really all about talking to other players and try and figure out what they are really planning on doing and then make your moves accordingly.

Oh and the deadline to submit moves isn't until Oct 22nd. We have two players that won't be able to start until then so we pushed back the starting time a week.

I think Tapper has a link in the Dip 8 signups. I'll see if I can't find it.

I bumped the old Diplomacy signups for the last game. On the first page Tapper has a lot of good info for you to reference. Take a look at that and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Sir Thursday, Tapper, and Morgoth have a lot of experience in this game. For number of games played you can consider me a noob but I think I have a pretty good grasp of the game early so I can probably give my 2 cents and it's probably not all that far off.

Probably worth putting up a proper game thread with a starting map and the teams in it. Then I feel like we can get started in the scheming .
