I think you can buy the tickets at the airport (at least I have from stansted to London, but not to Cambridge), but it is much cheaper to buy in advance online. You can buy them at http://www.nationalexpress.com/.

Yes, you can buy them directly at the airport - there's a ticket office just next to the bus stop (and iirc there is another one in the arrival hall, though the queues there are long). But as IH said above, it's always cheaper to buy online in advance.
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Yay, that's good, thanks ;)

And yeah, online is cheaper, but I don't have a credit card so unless they accept paypal (which they don't, it seems) I'll have to buy the tickets at the airport.

It's getting closer and we need to decide where to meet up - I'm wondering what's happened to Toby.
Anyone seen/heard from him lately?

I'm here and I'm alive! And only semi-pissed, which is as good as you'll get.

Saw the suggestion for Islington above, which aint a bad idea given the massive number of decent pubs, so I defer to the public opinion. If we do, however, then bear in mind that it's an Arsenal home game that day so nobody wear a sp*rs shirt!

Plenty of decent pubs down Holborn way (as those of you who came to the Cittie of York last time will recall), and a few lovely ones generally round the edge of the City, so working around that way could be a shout too?

Add two more people to the list, we're bringing a pair of Malazan guests.

You might want to be gentle with them. One of them is inexperienced in the ways of Malazan Meet Ups... Less talk about Karsa's cock would probably be a start ^_^
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. I shall turn up I think, but I'm supposed to be attending a surprise party in the evening. So I shall take it easy. Dinner might work though.

Yup. Got someone with us that I think Mal will be particularly happy to see again. ^_^

We'll be joining you later in the afternoon, but will be definitely there for dinner.

I already had my tickets booked on Virgin Trains - so I am in London by around 11 so meeting up lunchtime works well for me but as I am on a 7:30 train back shall decline the dinner invitation. Any consensus yet on a location to meet up at lunchtime?

We're meeting at the Norfolk Arms between 12 and 1pm on Saturday 1st Dec. Pub website http://www.norfolkarms.co.uk/

I'm going to book a table at Mr Kong restaurant in Chinatown for 4pm. That way Fid can eat with us before he needs to leave and we won't all fall asleep if we try and eat after drinking all afternoon. Anyone with strong objections speak out or forever hold your peace. I'll book the table on Sunday since we're such a big group. I'll book it for 15 - the 14 mentioned above (including Dag's mystery guests) and space for a random extra. If you're not on the above list (Cyphon, Gothos, Green Pig) and want to come, say so.

Restaurant website: http://www.mrkongrestaurant.com/ It's standard Cantonese fare but done very nicely.

All locations are easy to reach from the Picadilly Line. If you want to locate us between any of those times make sure you PM someone for their mobile number.
