NY Giants smells like a slam dunk for week 2.

4 people taking Oakland!

Houston is among the best rushing teams in the league and only gained 83 yards on 35 attempts against Maimi.(2,4 average)

I am going to watch this game just for fun now that 4 of you depend on Maimi sucking more than Oakland.:)

Wow, getting killed in week 2.
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

Looks like I was destined to lose week 2. Switched from NE to Oakland. Seriously!!! They both lost!!!! To MIAMI AND ARIZONA!!!!!

I should just flip a coin going forward and have better luck. Should have trusted my first instincts and went with Indy. Back to the ole drawing board.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I bloody LOOKED AT THE bloody FIXTURES AND THE ONLY bloody REASON I PICKED bloody OAKLAND AGAINST THE bloody DOLPHINS WAS BECAUSE IT bloody "LOOKED" LIKE OAKLAND WAS AT bloody HOME. IN ENGLAND THE FIXTURES TO THE GAMES ARE ALWAYS THE bloody HOME TEAM VERSUS THE bloody AWAY TEAM. ALWAYS. YET YOU bloody AMERICANS PUT THE bloody FIXTURES AS AWAY TEAM AT HOME TEAM. YOU WILL NOT FOOL ME NO MORE. NEXT GAME I WILL KNOW AND WIN. rant over

More than 10 years following the NFL and i am still not used to it being reversed. Atleast it is easier than figuring out Speed, dates, weight, height.

Sonofabitch!!!!

Up until I read this rant I thought Oakland lost at Home to Miami. The only reason I picked them was I thought they were playing at home not in Miami.

I did double check the NE-ARZ game and NE did in fact lost at home. That is still mind boggling. I guess pretty boy's nose hurt him a bit too much.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I soooooo want to save the Patriots for later in the season, but they're favored by like 347 points. Nope, can't do it. Mr. Bundchen will have to wait; week two's ironclad-goldstar-lock is Green Bay.

There's no such thing as a guaranteed win in the NFL, no matter what, but the Pats winning week 2 was as close to 'guaranteed' as I've ever felt, and BAM. Lost out on winning $215 because of their loss, although the bet only cost me $45. They were the only loss in a pick 4 bet I made.

Come back when the metric system is your standard too, and you look at a column of numbers that make no sense.

Beats me why America does home/away that way.

I think our date system makes more sense though. It's written the way we say it. We say "Today is September 18th, 2012." So we write it 9-18-2012. Who says "Today is the 18th of September, 2012" ???*

*Pretentious people with monocles who also say "I say Finius, tut tut. While the line is engaged tap your bowler and let us away in the next carriage to East Wumbledumbleshire"

Ha ha, I like your quote.

When someone asks me my birthday I say it's the 18th of Ocotber, or 18th of the 10th 1984, I would not say it is the 10th month and 18th day. In fact how do you say your birthdate? Would you say my birthday is October the 18th? Or the 18th of October? Either way is okay I guess.

For Polish, you'll have to wait 2-3 weeks, unless you want to ask Gothos. I'm sure Lauren can tell you about Spanish and Russian, I wouldn't know :p

Hoy es el dieciocho de septiembre dos mil doce.

Have no clue how to say it in Russian.

As for my pick this week I'm going with the Colts. I should have done this last week and paid the price.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
