PS have today started accepting pre-orders for FoD, due October.
This is a limited edition run only so 300 copies, as usual for the longer books split into two volumes and slipcased.
Same artist as Wurms, got some preview images of the artwork on the PS website.
Full details here

Ordered! I've quite liked these PS Publishing editions. The split into two books is something I'm a big fan of. Admittedly I didn't buy the RoTCG one with all the spelling mistakes but I have the others ; )
Shame they didn't do NoK in a box like the others though.
If anything I'd say they're better value than the (also lovely) Sub Press ones.

Did you guys see their newsletter item? Not only is there the £95 version form above, they are creating a new biblio line of super limited editions!
More rare AND expensive than the sub press lettered editions!

We're going to be doing a limited two-volume edition of Steven Erikson's THE FORGE OF DARKNESS and, as if that were not enough, current plans are to introduce a new strictly limited 26-copy lettered (i.e. A, B, C etc) BiblioBook imprint featuring an absolute state-of-the-art production traycase, additional artwork and a numbered certificate of authenticity (i.e. BiblioBook # 1, BiblioBook # 2 etc), all put together by a specialist company in California. These books will not be available as part of the Deluxe PS Lifetime Subscriber package but deluxe subscribers will be offered a copy for the price of the BiblioBook edition less the price of the deluxe edition. We're still discussing the final set-up but current plans are for the BiblioBook to retail at around £300/$500.
Not every PS title will feature a BiblioBook edition. So far, in addition to the Erikson, we've identified three major 180,000-word SF single-author collections scheduled for 2013 and Joe Lansdale's TRAPPED IN THE SATURDAY MATINEE (albeit a little later than the regular trade and deluxe states which we'll be launching at FantasyCon in Brighton late next month). There are other major projects that we're unable to discuss at this point.
BiblioBook editions will be available only direct from PS Publishing.

Not a fan of the cover art for it, but some of the other images aren't bad. I'll probably be passing on it though. The core books cost enough as is. I'm thinking the cover art is the painting of Urusander?

But of what?
The dino on the Vitr shore and Kada's hands with the eyes i get, and i can go with Urusander for the dude at the table, but the other two appear to be an old dude in a chair, and a sort of swiss looking house i can only assume is meant to be Andarist's.

Hate to argue with you Salamander, but I found the SubPress books a good bit cheaper, even being shipped to Scotland and on top of that the quality seems to be better (they put text on the slipcases too) and they are more likley to stick to their dates.
The latter point being a bugbear with me and PS, OST was almost six months after the original publication date and my copy of Wurms at least 2 months.
That said I'll still buy from PS, but I think I'll pass on the copy of Forge, the art does nvery little for me, seems to arty with an attempt at atmosphere that seems to miss the mark for me.

Have to agree with abyss, the art doesn't seem to be of particularly recognisable scenes. No idea who the old guy is supposed to be, tulas? Guy at the desk must be gothos or haut as he has tusks.

I'm thinking 'the old man' man is actually the old hag... can't remember her name. You know, the river god priestess. In my defense I had an awful headache while reading that part. The house though...

Cover art for volume one:
Still pretty vague in story terms, tho those could be Jaghut tusks out the bottom of a helmet (the bigger set).
I have to assume that's the intention because as a practical element, something that makes your head a bigger target and is likely to catch a blade right next to one's head would be a pretty bad design choice.
As a helmet for a Jaghut, it kind of works. Kinda.

Volume 2 is hella grody!
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
