I have been avoiding this thread like the plague. WHY THE HELL DID I COME BACK? Still haven't given in to the temptation but it is getting harder and harder not to.

I am about to start Turn Coat but I am with you here. There are so many ways this series can go. The Outsiders are a major baddie but they are being called upon by the Black Council. The leader of them who do you think he is? I was thinking last night that it could be Ebenezar and he wants Harry on his side. If not who? It has to be someone really powerful? What about Harry's Mother? Is she dead? We thought Harry was dead didn't we? The Black council has at least Denarians, Faeries, Wizards, Vampires etc on board. Who else could "lead" them? One of the dragons? It has to be someone powerful AND above Cowl. How can Harry control the outsiders? Whoever is leading the campaign evidently wants to cause strife between every being on earth. So is it possible to get the sample chapter(s) online? All the other books had the samples posted on Butcher's website, and as much as I'd like to read them, I'm not going to buy another copy of Ghost Story.

Do you have a bookstore near you? You could always do what the rest of us did and stand in the store and read the samples. :blink:

Literally no bookstore near me, it seriously sucks. I've taken to the what am I reading thread to find recommendations that I can ship via amazon.
