So, I came accross Erikson naming a gelded warhorse Neth - now I of course have the blog - Neth Space. Erikson knows of my blog and has mentioned it in interviews before and I have interviewed him there a while back. Coincidence?
And if not, exactly what is he trying to say by naming a gelded warhorse of Osserc after my blog.
Nevermind, I don't think I really want to know

A character named Neth OK, it's actually a gelded warhorse, but...

hmm...OK, it's not the gelded warhorse - Neth is the loyal packhorse. And there is something called neth berries that the horse is prusumably named for. Of course if you dry out the berries and grind them into a powder, it is something like cocaine.

So... are you more pleased with your blog being likened to c'caine/PCP or a packhorse?
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

I'm still not sure what to think of this, so I'll wait to see what the fate of the noble steed is in the following books. But at the moment, I suspect that the packhorse Neth is one of the souls in QB

It's probably an ancestor of the Mules of Darkness.
