I'm not convinced a speed lynch is any better than a vote-for-this-guy-because-we-need-a-lynch lynch at this point. Last time that happened to me, scum got out of a day 1 lynch, so I'm a bit cagey about it.
I'll be around though, and I appreciate that D'riss is making a case than the one we have, but I wonder if it might keep until day 2?
Dammit. I don't know what to do now.
Why were you voting Emur to begin with? If you feel like Emur is more likely to be scum than Tellan, by all means, stick to your vote.
Personally, I was unconvinced by the 'case' on Emur, I don't have a problem with the language stuff that other people objected to, and I dislike that the train built so quickly on Emur. All we have now is more options.
I'm pretty sure I've explained elsewhere, but it boils down to not wanting to miss a lynch, Emur being the most likely candidate with what I thought was very little time left, and unlike you find the language thing really frustrating, especially given that Emur chose to continue in spite of votes piling against them at the time (and then bitched about it afterwards).
Finally, and I didn't mention it before because it's a bit petty, there seems to be habit in the past few games of one or two people spouting nonsense throughout the game and muddying up the thread which then has to be taken seriously in case it's important but generally turns out to be total horseshit. I don't want to be a stick in the mud about it, but it's frustrating to deal throughout the game, and in light any better cases, I was okay with a Day 1 lynch of someone who apparently can't take a hint (I mean really, 3 or 4 votes and you still keep going?) and may fuck things up for town in the long run through being a distraction from actual scum hunting. /end whine
