After reading up, my trés main suspects are Tellan, Liosan and Kaschan.
Tellan because of 'ow 'e be'aved around zeee duck talk and potential signalling, zen around zee language translation.
Tellan votes for Emur because of Korean which 'ad not even been posted at zee time.
A little later Tellan attacks Emur for getting upset about the "joke votes" but zer ver 4 votes on him already and zeey ver enough to get 'im lynched at zee end of zee day.
A little later 'e summarises zat we need to eezer lynch Emur or Kaschan? Then later changes to Emur or Rashan? (need to check this).

Not a lot of controversy today. I would be willing to vote Emurlahn for offering the opportunity for signaling (I know you will call it RP, I would argue if it is RP its lame and boring). Or the three ducks, just on the off chance they are signaling eachother.
I'm pretty sure Kaschan was the original duck, so there's that.
These choices are shit, but I haven't found anything better so far.

Liosan because 'e complains about people' avatars even zough we got to pick our own. Ruse votes 'im based on zis. Liosan votes Rashan because of low post count, which 'e got wrong. 'e zen says Rashan and Eloth are our best bet but zen removes from Rashan. 'e ends up on zee Emur train.
Kaschan for a few reasons, maybe 'e just looks scummy with 'is wording of zings.. Kaschan does not want to translate anyzing. 'e didn't like anyzing in terms of a case, rubishes vat was out zer at that time and zen leaves without dropping a vote. Kaschan zen comes back and votes Emurlahn.
Zese are the ones zat ping my radar zee most so far.
I did not find Emur to be scummy. I found I agreed with D'riss a lot. Atrahal and Sorrit also made some good posts.

The people saying the pile up was too sudden smell like horseshit.
Welcome to time zones. Day was timing out at a very weird time for most of the U.S and Canada. I think the majority of votes (and certainly mine) came because we left for the night and wanted to make sure a lynch happened at all.
If you're going to vote me for that, have fun with your retardation.
If you have further questions, ask. I promise I'll be less rude if they're less retarded.
2nd order of business. LOL Venge dead again.
3rd order of business.
Osseric has made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Looking at a few of his posts from today.
This sounds like an excuse as to why he was laying relatively low on day 1.
This post (along with the avatar choice) makes me feel like Osseric is a scum that wants to taunt the rest at the end of the game. Pick something obviously evil, say evil things, and when we pass it off as town RP, he can laugh at us.
Again. This RP is not helping, and makes me cry scum.
There are a few more. And this is just today, I didn't look at day 1 posts from him.

LAME!!! Yeah, not surprised at Emur's true identity.
@Tellan, better than smelling like camel shit. The point was that someone went from 3 votes to 7 votes in a very short span of time. I would hazard at least one of those hasty votes were a scum daintily dropping in a straw for the camel's back.

You're probably right. But it's still frustrating when people label me as likely scum because I needed sleep and left my vote on the bigger train.

These were the two posts that made me suspicious of Liosan. The first almost schizo banter with the highlighted phrase (sounds like killer when you read it) makes me think signaling or at least messing around (e.g. "haha, I was the killer and I said so in post numero uno bitches").
That alone wasn't damning, but then we have the below where she spouts the same party lines as others on the thread ("It's the ducks!") or points out other potential avatar signaling (namely Osseric).
But in a closely following this post, she states she doesn't believe in signaling and then goes after Rashan. To her credit, she removes her vote from Rashan once he starts posting useful material.
I would like to here her response to these thoughts (especially since she was the one to put Emur at L-1 with hours left in the game).

I'm always astounded by the amount of people who say 'let's play the game, we won't get information if we speed lynch on day 1' blah blah blah. Day 1 votes are almost always joke votes, there's usually little to no information on thread until someone pisses someone else off enough to get a crazy match going. At any rate, I'm suspect of all the ducks, and anyone who chose a bad guy (Osseric) as their avatar. It seems to me like they're probably trying to say something!
Specially considering this was supposed to be Disney PRINCESSES themed according to the sign-up thread. I think we should lynch those players simply for not following the theme. *nods*

Fair enough, but pressure is part of the game princess.
So, Osseric eh? I too distrust people choosing less savory avatars, but feel that there could be a tongue in cheek aspect to such gameplay. Problem with Osseric is the RPing without actually playing the game, another type of low poster... I would see more content from her.

Ok, I'm at page 6 in my reread and this is bugging me. 13 hours to go and Tellan is worrying about timing out without a lynch? This looks a lot like scum trying to goad for votes.

Okay, I'm finally on lunch now. This has been a rough morning for me, so I haven't been able to really participate much. I'd like to look into Osserc in addition to the train. Though his arrival this morning has its reasons (fits in with his previous post times, appeared during night which is pretty much a mini-break), the RP is still annoying once the game gets rolling. Same goes for the accent on Tennes' posts. While I enjoy spamming/rp on day 1 as much as the next guy, I think it's important that everyone who is town plays seriously once the game gets going to provide as few hiding opportunities for scum as possible.

Well Osseric, there were about 6 hours before I would be leaving for the night, and as you can see there were no viable cases or trains. I was getting discussion roling so I could take advantage of the hours I had. Clearly nothing came of it, since we lynched Emurlahn anyway.

Hey everyone! Am on my lunch, so have some time to actually post finally! I have been skimming over content since I went to bed yesterday, and just wanted to this before I start building any cases:
First post that you quoted was a direct quote from the movie Tangled. I was simply using it to RP on Day 1. Saying kill her is obviously a signal cause it's so close to killer is kind of a stretch, I feel. But anyway, it wasn't a signal, I was just playing along. Re: second post - that was my initial feeling when I started posting - look at the obvious signals. But in the end, upon deeper thought, I figured there was no point in trying to build any case on that, as it's usually a waste of time. Then I found the Rashan thing, and went with that as at least it was based on some reasoning that better resembled a decent case (while remaining far from being a good case). Anyway, I sat on the thread for about 5 hours last night, hoping that a train could go somewhere other than Emu, but it was the same four or five people on all night. I went to bed, and day was going to time out while I was asleep. I don't believe in not lynching, so I put my vote where the train was headed. I figured everyone who was actually around had pretty much already voted, so there was no point in my not voting, which would have looked suspicious on Day 2 if, by chance, Emu had turned up scum.
As Tellan pointed out, it's not like we weren't around to move a train elsewhere, there just wasn't really anywhere else to move it and still be relatively sure to get a vote. Most if not all of the four who piled on were on most of the evening with me and were just waiting around to see if there was more info coming to move a vote, but it wasn't happening. Though there probably was a scum on Emurlahn's train, I'm not as inclined to automatically assume one of those four is the scum. Why aren't we looking at the first three votes? They're the real reason the Emurlahn train was able to get off the ground.
Sorrit said at one point that we should be looking for people who aren't making any waves, and I strongly agree with this. I'm going to start having a look at people's posts as a whole, see who is being helpful, and who's only jumping on other people's ideas, etc. I also agree that the time for RPing is over, we should be playing seriously now to make it more difficult for scum to hide.

I lied, turns out I won't have time to be thorough after all. These last couple days at work have been killer.
The problem with the emu lynch is that speedlynching her at the end didn't yield much info at all. It was essentially, "oh we might as well lynch someone", and I agree it is better than a no-lynch, but it doesn't tell us much and leaves us with some wifom between tellan and the ruse death. We don't ahve much to work with, and meanwhile a few people can continue to lay low and avoid conflict.

I don't understand how you can call 5 hours of trying to move votes elsewhere a speed lynch. Just because it was done four hours before day timed out due to our (North America) sleep schedules doesn't make it a speed lynch. I, and at least 2 of the other 3, waited until the very last minute before dropping our vote. It's not our fault that there was no other viable lynch target at that point, and so there was nothing else we could do. Conversely, I could say that you weren't around during the 5-6 hours we were trying to move the lynch elsewhere, so that makes you suspect for lying low. I don't think that's true, but the accusation has just about as much merit as accusing us of being scummy for having to put our votes down before going to bed in order to assure a Day 1 lynch.
