Thanks for that info guys. For one, I thought it was 'whine' instead of 'wine.' So at least it makes more sense. It's still an odd concept, but I see what the jist of it is.

I think it looks like Amp is digging herself into some trouble. I mean we know she's screwed once Silanah reveals, but even without that reveal, they might get her. And Fener might feel almost like he's forced to defend Amp a bit harder than he wants to. It could take him down too if Amp goes. Jist speculating, though. I've watched you guys swing huge shifts into the opposite direction, so they might pull off something. Best case for the killers is that they don't lynch Amp, and Sil don't reveal, and they kill Sils ass tonight. If you guys were the killers, would you kill Silanah for pushing so hard on Amp, or not.

Actually, the case is very, very good. Certainly the best so far this game. Grief/Fener is pretty relaxed about it, he likes where D'rek is. If it wasn't for the find, scum would have this game bagged already - I wonder when Blend is going to reveal. He does sit out all the pressure on him without a shred of doubt or nerve, which is commendable, and I am impressed by that, but since tomorrow's d-day with a bad lynch today, he can't wait much longer.

So who you want to kill tonight?

At this point, I think we should start killing off the more vocal, active players, which would be Kaschan, Sil, Fener, and Korv, though Korv I don't think is being as useful as the other three. Karosis, Atrahal, Korbas and Sorrit are all fairly inactive and aren't likely to make a good case in their minimal playing time.

I say we pick Korv - no one is looking at him much as scum, and he doesn't agree with me much but isn't my main arguer, Sil.

Night 3 - Kill Korvalain

But feel free to change if you disagree, since I picked the last one.

Fener want's to know about modkill timing on Spite. I haven't the time to figure that out at the moment.

Sorry Taps, this week has been absolute hell, and it was unanticipated hell, otherwise I wouldn't have volunteered to co-mod

Never playing mobile only again. I felt so utterly useless.

Knew Amp was scum. Suspected Fener was scum, didn't suspect symp (but should have).

Fun game.

Agreed. I've only played mobile only in the sengoku interlude. IMO, my worst game.

I like Gust Hub's play now that he has a plan, only if he can actually find scum then that would be great. If the thread believe it to be D day then Silanah has to reveal. You cannot keep that information away from the thread.

man, I sucked in that game. I don't know why I keep trying to play when I have no time, but it's either don't play at all or play when I can. hope that doesn't offend anyone too much

gonna write this one off
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

We shall see how the finder reveal goes down and if there is enough experience to tell people. We test a finder reveal by lynching the scum find. If it comes back scum then great if not we lynch the finder. It is classic M/P strategy. Anything else costs you the game.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Silanah is talking shit. This is a counter reveal.

I am the finder. First night I checked Kaschan. Second I checked Korbas. Last night I checked Atrahal. I got inno returned for all three.

I also coded it into a post when I had time a bit after I arrived (think it was probably day two?).

Vote Silanah

A symp counter. Decent play but grief has been out of the game to long. If he did code it he should have had that quote ready for his counter. Plus why would the real finder counter reveal when he wasn't under any pressure to save someone who he didn't do a find one. Smacks of desperation... I would be all over this like white on rice.

Grief's counter-reveal is going to muddy things, as is the time limit. With the weekend around the corner, it is decision time for a lot of people.
Personally, I don't think the counter-claim was necessary and is merely putting more pressure on Ampelas - unless they lynch Grief but even then he could be the symp saving his master...

I really, really liked D'rek's reply. Grief's basically undermining instead of supporting that. I also don;t know how much space he has left for ansible to hide in...

Unless he clears everyone other than Spite. /shrug.
It is an all or nothing gamble and he should be able to produce the code soon. Or he could gamble that people already doubt Blend enough, which is a real option - Kaschan is going mad in his PMs.

The code is in the first paragraph.

Take the first letter, of the third word, of each sentence.

I'm not greatly convinced on Silanah as his master. The early joke/spam could be signalling, or it could just be spam - that's the problem with spam. It is odd to title a link simply "scum!!", thus underlining it. My issue essentially is that the link to Sil doesn't really seem as damning, in fact, that's my general problem. Anthras himself feels very scummy, but the connections to potential masters seem weaker (and there's the possibility of fake symping). The strongest suggestion towards his master is the Kaschan train but there's problems there too, such as whether or not a master would stick his neck out for symp (in the event of the train gaining steam, which I'm not really convinced it looked like doing), or even follow at all rather than let the symp stir it up.

Anthras himself seems very scummy, but Sil hasn't struck me too badly. The connection isn't bad, and I would support a Sil lynch, but Anthras seems the scummier of the pair - he is more likely a symp, but I'm not ruling master out as a possibility, and I'm much surer of him as scum at all than Sil.

This gives us the letters: g j o e f s
Move each down one alphabetically and we have: f i n d e r

And there you have it.

The alphabet goes from a - Z so you have to move each one up alphabetically. Down would give you HkPFGT.....sigh... To much grief to much. Still doesn't explain the bit why you would counter reveal to save someone who you haven't done a find on.

Because two finders doing 2 finds a night would be unbalanced.
He now needs to say that Silanah is either scum or the symp, buying town a day.

But that code does make his reveal a whole lot better and Blend has never been in a position where he got caught between a rock and a hard place on a reveal, so inexperience is also playing a role.

Yeah, ok, agreed, I'm gonna change it again.

Also, it looks like we have our symp - Fener. Unless there are two finders (unlikely), he's clearly putting himself on the line to save you. Hopefully he continues to get painted as a killer, so that he's another possible lynch target besides you and Sil if it comes to that. But if Fener truly is our symp, and we lynch anyone but you, me, or him, it's D-Day and we win in the morning. That's pretty sweet.

Change provisional:

Kill Silanah, if she's lynched, kill Sorrit

The best part of Fener's reveal is that the killers now KNOW for sure who to team with. All 3 knowing each other is huge. And now the won't have to worry about NKing their symp.

If they lynch Amp, NK Sil, Sil CFs finder?, they'll lynch Fener, Spite NKs (Atrahal, Korbas, Sorrit, or Kaschan) , then its just Spite and 3 others.

I bet Spite would NK Sorrit or Korbas, one of the two cleared by Sil. So it could end with Spite, Kaschan, arahal, and one of two cleared town. Fener cleared Atrahal to set up this possible situation, possibly hoping to incriminate Atrahal, who has already received some suspicion.

And this is BCS for town.

So scum has upper hand.

Assume Spite NKs Sorrit after Fener lynch, it leaves Spite , Kaschan, Korbas, and Atrahal. If they think Fener DIDN'T or WOULDN'T include scum, then it possibly removes Atrahal and Korbas is already cleared, so they choose between Spite and Kaschan.

That's IF they lynch Amp, them Fener. Good luck town. If they make it to the last day they still have to choose Spite over Kaschan and Atrahal.

The issue here is that Grief and Blend combined covered everyone's innocence but Spite. So if the lynch does go Blend's way (or even now) the only unknown is Spite. A good third road would be lynching Spite since both finders are a scum short. Grief's got to hope that no-one will think of it. Blend has to hope someone else gets the idea because if he says it, it would sound majorly scummy. In the scenario that the game continues, ansible has to pray that others will consider that the scum included the finder on their non-guilty list.

Basically, all cards are on the table, imho, now it is just who falls for what.
