I was just thinking the same thing! I looked at my steam library and I have 4 of 22 games installed and most of the ones not installed I haven't played yet and I just picked up the Crysis Collection in a Flash sale :)

I have screwed back my purchasing of games immensely since last year when I realized that even if I have time, 80% of it is spread between 3-4 games (a mix of rpg, strategy or sports/city sims mostly, each with a life cycle of 2 years or so, each easily a timesink of 50-80 hours - with good replay value).

Of the remaining 20%, half or so is spent on console games and Audiosurf, Bejeweled and other small time puzzle stuff, and the remaining 10% is basically what I continue to buy games for: a rainy sunday afternoon when there's no sport on the telly. Too bad that the back catalogue is so big that I could game for several years of rainy sunday afternoons, and that 4/5 of the that backlog has 3 hours or less invested into it so far.

Got myself Torchlight for £3.24, been wanting to try this for a while in anticipation for the 2nd one.
Saying that though I can't see myslef NOT playing Diablo 3 for the next few months...

Just got myself Galactic Civilizations II Ultimate for like 8 euro. Nice!

And Space Marine for 13.39. Nice.

AND the Thief Gold and Thief II I already owned, but had trouble running on my machine - now with Steam, so working, right?

I only got GalCiv2 Ultimate Edition. Did not have it before, and only caught the very tail end because of vacation timing. Not like that one won't hold me over until GW2 comes out in a month. AND Darksiders2 comes out middle of next month, and I still have not played the first. /sigh.

I have spent very little money on this one. I have so many games to play (and so little time, given I work 7 days a week), that I can ignore most of this year's releases well untill the xmass sale.

I chose the same strategy. I was looking at Skyrim, The Darkness 2, Max Payne 3, Witcher 2, Sniper Elite and maybe a few others I can't recall, but I already have so many games in my pile of shame that I can wait until december sale and maybe save even more then.

Still, I did buy quite a few games that I binged on over the past week.
