Leave me out of this, I'm only a race of tribal throwbacks with a love of fornication and war

Serc opens his eyes and finds it is still dark outside and the rain is pouring. Time for the old man shouting. He turns over and bids you all a goodnight. No guard on his door just a lock. Sleep well

This discussion is getting us nowhere. It may be day 1, and there may be very little information, but talking about whether Merrid is a dragon or not is not going to generate useful discussion.

Less than pithy response? Check!
More confusion over what you wrongly chastised me for? Check! (Merrid is a dragon: list of dragons in MT.)
Poorly thought up challenge? (Emurlahn, Rashan, Liosan. Not Edur, Andii, Liosan.)
Lern two reed betr.

Quote, please, from MT (enjoy this).
Uh, you are making serious leaps. I didn't say they all paired up. See "Barghast" up there? We don't have "T'lan Imass" or "Eres'al"; doesn't mean we couldn't have "Liosan". See "Fener"? We don't have "K'rul" (except by way of our lovely mod) or "Oponn" or "Mael". We have "Anomander" but no "Andarist". NOT EVERYTHING MATCHES UP MAGICALLY LIKE YOU WANT IT TO. So keep it up. Your ignorance is entertaining.
Point. Merrid isn't in the random list of dragons like I thought.
However, I've yet to see your self-aware warren. Just obfuscation. Seeing as how that was why I'm a "dumbass" everything else is just words.

My point was that even if you were to reject the self-aware warren argument, there are still yet other reasons why your claim of "Liosan can't think because he is a warren" does not hold up.
So, you were and are wrong. And yes, everything in Mafia is just words, unless you are posting pictures of cats to fake being silenced.

That's because Merrid isn't a dragon, not because there is little information.

I think you're right, but there's nothing else underway.
Anybody tickling your fancy?

What other reasons?
Also, that would only last one day at the most. Otherwise the person would just be stupid to fake being silenced. Unless they just wanted to post cat pictures and thus not faking being silenced at all.

Well, I was joking about the cats, because silencing is in fact a real mechanic, but outside of it, the entirety of Mafia consists of words. So to dismiss it for that reason is to dismiss the game entirely. There's a joke here about a baby and bathwater somewhere.
The other reasons are that just because you think your alt name is a reference to a warren doesn't mean that it's true. And so there are perfectly legitimate arguments to be made that disprove what you claimed above - like that Liosan could refer to a race of people, like Barghast, rather than a warren. It is illogical to deny this possibility.

It is logical and deductive reasoning. It's a sequence. Yes, Barghast is just chilling. But Liosan matches Galain and Emurlahn. You wouldn't argue those are about the Andiii and Edur. Unfortunately Liosan is both the warren and race of people.
I do like how you are trying to prove that I can think by trying to paint me as an idiot that can't think though.

Don't really know where to begin. Obviously we're cult hunting and the safe play for cult is to lie low day one to at least get one recruit. But as the mechanic is passed on that kind of dashes the usual strategy.

I want to make a little sense of the DDay situation. If there are no Independants (there really is no reason for there to be one) , WCS dday is:
Day/night cycles:
1. 12 town, 3 B's
2. 10 town, 4 Bs
3. 8town, 5 Bs
4.6town, 6Bs. At this point, we would need to lynch a B each day to prevent them from winning. The only way for us to win in this situation is to NK at least 1 B per night. Therefore, there should be some kind of adventurer aligned killer or multiple vigs, if only to balance out the game. This is supported by the part in the OP that says that apostleyds transfer upon the hosts death, in which case that just makes it even more slanted to Bs. I'm not very awake right now, so this could be complete nonsense. If it is, forgive me.

Kasch looks around sheepishly (and a little confused) at the activity around him. Lot of looking over sleeping forms, people looking surprised, etc. And didn't he touch the orb? He could have sworn that he did.
