I love this idea... Reminds me of Dr Suess's bet leading to Green Eggs and Ham. Wanted to give it a try, hope you enjoy!

CRASH! Another plate, the fourth so far. Will she run out of dishes soon? Silence. Might be safe now. Barely opening the door... CRASH, splash. Oh yes, the glasses, forgot about those. CRASH, squish. And the vase. CRASH, ouch! Slivers slip through the gap. I sigh... Long, lonely night ahead.

"It's broken."
He turned. "What?"
She didn't face him. Just looked past him-no, right through him. Bleary-eyed. Dull. "The fridge. It's broken."
He was silent. Then he said quietly, “I guess I’ll call a repairman.”
“Right.”
As she shuffled back to bed, he wondered how it had come to this.
Suck it Errant!

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

(Here's another one.. Just needed a quick warm up for my brain, these help me toy with words enough to get started, but not enough to derail my other thoughts and plans.)

Alarms of Doom blaring.

The entire world seemed to stop. This moment that stretched into days, he had the freedom to see all of his past, and all that should lay ahead.

How had he been so blind! He won't kill his future!!

She cries...

The wedding bells fall silent.

(Edited trying to figure out why the spaces (for effect) won't work, too much trouble to bother with)

So, here goes

The emptiness behind his eyes was so vast that I felt that I was falling into a world of pointlessness. I saw his lips move, but I only heard an arse braying. And all present breathed a collective sigh of relief as Ed Miliband sat down and shut up.
I don't have time to consider things I have to consider.
