It's a bit childish really. What do you expect this late in the day? People will jump on the biggest train to get a lynch and you can't really blame them. We all need those lynches.

Yeah, but still, posting sheep? Doesn't seem like normal behaviour to me.

Sheep tend to follow other sheep and if one goes here another goes the same. There were up until the latest votes 4 viable options, Kaschan, Tulas, Serc and Sorrit. I'd have been happy with a choice but there isn't much of one now is there?

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say any of them are viable right now, Sorrit's got half the number needed to lynch, I believe.

Clearly he is posting pictures of his romantic interests. I'm sure he has a whole file of them.

On my phone so this is just a vote post. Would have preferred Ruse or Serc, but it's not to be.

Vote Sorrit

Hello Tulas.

Damn, I manage to do that at least once a game...

So I'm back, and it looks like the majority of the discussion has been around the zombies. Tennes makes some good points, but I'm not sure how well it would work swapping alts around. It would mean that an alt could suddenly change style and it could be quite obvious. Though it is worth looking out for. Sorrit's catch also looks worth investigating, it seems unusual that people would appear in clusters like that. Once, maybe, but twice?

Sorrit's roleplaying is not bothering me because it is accompanied by actual content. While it does seem a strange choice, to impersonate a zombie, it is something easy to roleplay that won't give away who your character is.

And Anomandaris, Like I said several posts ago, I'm antsy about votes without justification. And antsy about serious votes in what was only the 23rd post. Meanas' original vote was "Galain is defending Sorrit so they must be connected", which is a stupid reason to vote for anyone. Further justification came when I pushed him for it.

Silanah's vote so soon after Ano's looks way weird. From his comment he obviously didn't read my original post, which says to me that he is hanging aroundfor someone to vote on, especially with the way he keeps changing his votes. Ano's response could be simply wtf, or it could be distancing.

For now I think our biggest threat is the zombies. I'd like to look more into the ones that arrived at the same time andsee what other interactions they have had.

Careful Tulas. "Defend" someone and you must be their symp/partner/shared alt. No seriously there has been a habit of late to attack players that disagree with a case beacuse it looks like a teammate is trying to protect another teammate when in reality the player is just expressing their opinion that they just plain disagree with what others are saying. Unfortunately though, I can see where, if the the speculation that there are multiple alts controled by one or two players is correct, then that would be a very valid way to make cases on someone in this game.

Two and a half hour and seven votes to go!

EDIT: I have the feeling that if Sorrit was not a zombie, he would have more votes by now. The votes are slowly trickling in, people are seeing that it's Sorrit or nothing, yet i'd imagine the zombies would leap onto him if he were a human.

A thought just occured to me - it's not necessarily only the zombies who have multiple alts. Quoting from one of the OPs:

Survivor - (Higher Time requirement, but very rewarding)

"Higher Time requirement" would suggest a multi-alt role - you're going to need to devote a lot more to the game in order to keep several alts on the go at once, after all. Might make sense for one of the other roles to give you multiples as well, I guess. Dunno that it makes sense for any of the human factions though, because all their characters are named (so harder to duplicate in a suitably thematic fashion).

I read that as he just had to keep himself alive until the game ended. That goes for all of the players still alive at end game. It take a lot more time when you are one of the last few still standing.

I'm not wild about voting for Sorrit, somebody started a train on him early on and its become convenient &/or expedient to lynch someone.

Is there no hope of another lynch? That said, I'll add my vote to the list because a day without a lynch is undesirable.

Does anyone have a grasp on which alts haven't posted yet? It was a good idea to look for zombies there, I think.

My choice for lynch is Serc based on general posts, some gut, and the fact that I strongly suspect that he is also Korbas.

I'll be back

Stick your vote on him and see what happens, specially if you can stay til day's end. I'm really reluctant to lynch Sorrit. Especially compared to the Serc lynch.

Mkay, so looking at the people Sorrit pointed out; Telas, Fener, Korvalain and Silanah in the first group and Telas, Olar Ethil, Ruse, Osseric and Eloth in the second.

Ruse actually signed in several hours before the post that was quoted.
Telas, Korvalain and Silanah have had significantly more posts than the others, although their contrbutions tend to be one to two lines. They have all contributed to the discussions about mechanics and suspicious behaviour.
Osseric has had relatively few posts, but what he has said tends to be much longer, a paragraph or two rather than a few lines.
The ones I see as suspicious: Fener, Olar Ethil, Eloth and to a lesser extent, Ruse. None of these players has contributed anything to the discussion going on. While low posting is not unusual, what does stand out is that Olar and Eloth were signing in and Ruse was signing out around the same time.

Also, there are still be a bunch of people we haven't heard from yet.

Where did Sorrit do this? I don't remember this post.

Look on Page 2 .

I feel like there might be something in it, but then again people do have a bad habit of 'checking in' and leaving without saying anything, which would look very similar. I very much doubt that those 8 posters are in fact just two players with 4 alts each, but it's possible that there might be a pair of alts in there. My instinct is that you'd expect there to be a substance-less alt and an alt with more content. On the other hand, if the alt-switcher is being creative and has a lot of time/multi-tasking ability, they might be able to pull off two convincing voices, I suppose.

Much props to whoever can do that. I find managing one alt to be a chore most games. It seems like it would be exponentially more dificult each alt you had to manage.

Just back and I'm half way to caught up.

Okay, Sorrit was my feeling last night, based on his interactions with Galain, they seemed to be connected in some way and Galain, I felt, was following Sorrit's lead rather blatantly. I see he's got a few votes now as well.

I've read over Serc's case a couple of times and i'm not sure where he is getting his 'a-ha' moment from in all that, it certainly didn't seem like there was anything substantial enough to justify the level of surety he was displaying and now I see he has changed his mind, going by the most recent PS post. His behaviour has been strange as well, the tone he's been using, and I also picked up a follow me kind of vibe coming from him and his original post that caused all the trouble was very unclear, which, to be fair, he did explain. I also find the votes that seem to have been placed quickly, and with little justification after serc's case on Kaschan rather suspicious.

And on I go with the reading.

Am i the only one who doesn't fully understand the Voodoo Master?

Can he insta-win the entire game when eh summons Hutzlaputzl, which is a silly name. And how does he summon it?

I'm catching up on the thread, so I don't know if Dinivan answered this already, but I'll start it after night resolves (so day 2 will be frozen with the full time on the clock).

A theory: Sorrit is the Voodoo Master.

He roleplayed a dick, and acted quite dickish early on while admitting to roleplaying. The Voodoo Master's description is:

Voodoo Master - (Somewhat complicated role) You are not a nice guy, not at all. Frankly, you don't really care about all the people or the zombies at all.
However, this is a good opportunity to complete the Ritual to summon the great Demon Hutzlaputzl. You win, if you manage to summon Hutzlaputzl. You will win and leave the game to reign over other puny mortals, while Hutzlaputzl will hold a bloody feast on the remaining players.
Defense Rating = 3
Kill and maim for the samples required to summon your demon.
VC - Summon Hutzlaputzl

Ofcourse, this is a very weak case, but i suddenly though of it.

Snip my case posts

IMO this was a bs post. I don't think Sorrit is really making a case here, he's defending against his roleplaying, which like I said is not the reason why I have a vote out on him.

I call BS on you calling it a BS post. This is a very valid arguement if there are players managing multiple alts. I admit that Ano is probably right and that not all of the players that I listed are each part of the zombie alts group but I do think that we have more zombies than not in those two groups and will still vote for someone in that group. Most likely a lower poster.

Disclaimer: Going forward I am proceeding with my assumption that the zombie alt group is in fact what is going on until proven otherwise. I just don't see how it can be anything else with what we know about the DR and the number of players in the sign ups.
