I'm always amused/mildly annoyed at the idiocy of people, when someone bashes a gay romance (the shitstorm with gay Shepard began before the game was released for fuck's sake) but they're perfectly fine with lesbians (because, you know, that's HOT). I know hypocrites are blind to their own hypocrisy but it's still annoying. Now I'm a straight male and I played FemShep first with Liara (obvious reason why) and then went for Garrus - which my friends think is weird but that's their problem. The option to play gay Shepard never interested me but I'm fine with it being there. Hell, I had a gay class mate in school and the guy was easy to spot. Got along fine with him and I think he's an alright guy - he was one of the few guys in class who I never had a desire to beat with a crowbar.

Social welfare means nothing other than we all starve equally in the end, sorry, that just caught my eye. But when your population graph is shaped like a J, there will be a limit. I'm not saying everyone will starve or something, just that it will become more and more of an issue, and then it will stop and reach its peak at, roughly 10 billion, when hunger is eating more than people are screwing (without condoms. Be protected!)
And yes, the cannibalism was a stretch, but I do believe it has a proper place to be found in just about any argument, and as such should really just be put there anyway.
Prison system, yes, though I would say there are other factors. And as for 'humans aren't rats'...when has that ever stopped us from doing anything? At some points, you could argue the rats have a few damned points on us. What is our planet other than a large cage, and the human subconscious is a tricksy one, yes it is. A wonderful study to do would be if there are more homosexual tendencies percentage wise in people who live in cities, or rural areas! I make myself wonder! hmmmmm....
Oh and yes, it has ever amused me at the state of my brother's homophobia, how he wishes so dearly to disown his loving brother for being only nearly gay (If anything I'm secretly straight), but he seems perfectly fine with all of his brother's bisexual and lesbian female friends, if only when they wear low cut shirts...He lives in a world with only one person in it though, I would say, which does I believe explain his...firmness. Found this short film, seemed like the best place to post it (even if it's not video game related). The basic premise is to flip the world around making heterosexuals into the minority. It's well made, well acted and gets the message across in a similar way Star Trek TOS: "Let that be your last Battlefield" did with racism, by showing you the absurdity and stupidity of prejudice.
