Did we not used to have a saying, about how if a certain someone was playing logically, being reasonable and making sense that this person was guaranteed to be scum? And is that person not doing this now? Just gonna put that out there because in my half-dazed state that kinda floated to the top of my memory...

Anyways, so Grief wasn't scum or at least not a killer. Venge ditto. These results are very shit for town, I was half-expecting one of the day vigs to turn out to be nothing of the sort too.

So are we now going to ignore the 'treat vigs as lynches' suggestion or what? With two hours to go and not much going on, our hand may be forced anyway.

Adding to what I posted before, I'm now convinced Obdigore is a symp, and is furiously attempting to divert attention every time he posts. There was just no logic whatsover in his half-incoherent attack at a PI like HD. Honestly, I didn't even get what he was attacking him about, all that came off was whiff of diversion and an attempt at discrediting HD, albeit half-assed.

So I would vote Obdi at this minute, though I think he will, as a symp, come up inno. As for killers, I don't know. I had thought Grief, but apparently not. I don't know about Stalker, I don't really know the way he plays or if he's doing anything different. Indeed, he hasn't really been noticeable at all for me. Ditto for Bubba, Bent, D'rek, and Macros.

Also, with both HD and Silencer apparently true to their claims (symp day vigs are highly unlikely I feel), I'm now wondering if there are other somewhat off-kilter roles out there.

Ok, I looked back to just before the spam began - and I have to revise my opinion slightly. Obdi actually joined in (and added to - imagine that button in the car in the Men in Black films that gives the car hyperultrabooster jets? Obdi was that button) the spam, rather than initiating it. The real starters were HD, Ment, and Venge.

So what happened around that time? Erm, not much. Well, a couple of things. Shinrei accused Ment of signalling to Obdi because Ment posted that he didn't realise Obdi was playing; D'rek suggested there might be a code in one of Macros' posts, seemingly half-seriously.

This was interspersed through the spam which had already begun, and then Obdi joined in and the rest is history.

reading up and I can see my advice/opinion was completely ignored.

I won't talk about why this is a bad idea because I don't want to give scum advice on how to play , though.

When you put a vote, do you feel the need to specify that you vote for him because a) you think he's scum and b ) lynching scum is good and lynching inno is not?

Sometimes people do say a), but optimally would add reasons why they think that player is scum. But saying b ), I should say it's a new one for me.

ok, go ahead and straw man me. I made the point that lynching another inno is something we can't afford because of the two failed vigs. Losing 3 in a single day, plus the coming NKs, almost goes into WCS number of deaths. Picking ment was a continuation of several earlier posts where it seemed like the dude was avoiding mentioning him. While dude was fake-symping the thread, I found it odd that ment (who was around and a high poster) was hardly mentioned. From there, there isn't much else, hence why I said gut.

Just catching up and thought the same thing. If town had one day vig and one night vig, and if the scum had one day vig and one normal killer. We should see only one death tonight(barring healers and guards)

That was my point - if scum pile onto a train without exposing themselves (pretty easy to do) and we lynch a town today, then tomorrow and the day after we absolutely have to lynch a killer each day or it is game over.

And yet you went and put a vote on Ment because of "gut" despite this? Scummy as hell.
