Right so, I just read a thread on Reddit about a guy on some gun nut conspiracy forum who found a set of coordinates that don't show up on any satellite imagery. Usually, even though a government wants to hide something, imagery will show up somewhere. You can look up secret locations in Russia via American footage and vice versa for example. This locationhow ever does not show up ANYWHERE. It's blurred or blocked on all satellites available to the public and even private ones too. That means that more than one government/company has to be in on this black out. WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?

Read this thread for the ideas these conspiracy theorists come up with. I don't know what is more entertaining, the conspiracy theories or reading the signatures of the guys posting. I think this forum is where Nico spends his free time.

Ah, but that is the problem. No roads leads to this location. It's not near water either. The only means of getting there is apparently a small airstrip. So, transporting heavy machinery there would be pretty much impossible and there's not a road to ship products out from either. Meaning that the place doesn't have a commercial purpose.

The only way we'll ever know is to mount an expedition and go have a look for ourselves. We may have to walk there from Vladivostok though, I don't think they would let us use the airstrip.

Interesting, though it is too far from Yakutia to be the famed Valley Of Death where the "cauldrons" reside and people don't go because of some sort of radiation sickness....anything in Siberia always suggests to me that story/legend. So I'm thinking more "cauldrons".

The real question is: what were you doing on a forum where almost everyone seems to be an all-American anti-abortion hardcore republican gun-freak?

Anyhow, the OP in that topic sounds like a decent smart guy with more knowledge of such stuff than us. Apparently it is a very small area, roughly rectangle, suggesting man-made as we love rectangular stuff and fences. There's little transport to and fro suggesting it is either connected underground or a facility where the only output is digital or on paper. It is in a remote area, suggesting it might be dangerous and explosive or the people who live and work there are. Or need peace and quiet. It doesn't look like a holiday park for the Putin family.

My suggestion: something to do with outer space.

I must say that I am quite baffled by that area.

Oh and mind you, there doesn't seem to be a wiki article about that mining company, in russian wiki either. It has a rather symbollic presence in the web, with scarcely any news or discussions, despite being active since 2006. There is a registered address in Moscow but I can't personally verify it.

It's pretty easy people.

Russia in the 80's built a doomsday machine if they ever got nuked they would release it. Think Cobalt bomb, but more wicked. Sometime ago it malfunctioned....

So they have been digging caves since the 90's<true story> and putting there people in for some time. The doomsday machine cannot be stopped either. Im thinking they used all three NBC in it.

anybody had a look at old internet archive footage of that area? I don't know where to get hold of these kinds of records - does archives.org store outdated satellite images from google map or so?
but are they worth preserving?
