Don't have to change it and instead re-purpose MAGA - Make America Garden Again. Which would be a good thing and an awesome positive to transform out of those shitty four letters.

Also the "moving to Canada" hollow threat always amuses me. Why the hell Canada anyway, regardless of what political stripe you identify with? If I'm high tailing out of here, I'm going to Costa Rica. Screw that cold bullshit.

'Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson has tested positive for the coronavirus [...] just days after the president’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, also tested positive. [...] Meadows and Carson both attended an indoor Election Night party at the White House on Tuesday.'

'David Bossie, who was named to lead Trump effort to challenge election results, tests positive for coronavirus

[...] As a result, Bossie is no longer part of the decision-making process of the election challenge effort, “because he can’t be at the campaign headquarters and he can’t be in the Oval Office,” [...]

[...] Bossie last Thursday participated in an Arizona Republican Party press conference about the Trump campaign in Phoenix.

At that event, Bossie, who was not wearing a mask, stood alongside U.S. Reps. Paul Gosar and Debbie Lesko, both Republicans from Arizona, state party chairwoman Kelli Ward, former Trump campaign officials Jeff DeWit and Boris Epshteyn, former U.S. Rep. John Shadegg.'

Neil Cavuto cut off McEnany's press conference on Fox earlier because she was out there with the baseless shit. I was excited when I heard they cut her off, but then I saw it was Neil Cavuto, who has called Trump out for being a liar before. Still good that he did it, but not really groundbreaking.

I don't understand the fear of Biden. He's clearly far to the right (far far to the right) of every political party in Norway, and we here have it better than the Americans on pretty much every metric (we do pretty well on gun ownership even, since hunting is such a big part of the hiking culture).

The last few days have scare med a little again. It seemed to me that enough of the republican establishment were accepting Biden as the winner, and that the US would avoid what I honestly though could develop into a civil war. Now though, it looks to me like they're being pulled back into Trump's orbit, and that they'll contest the election.

Morgoth, the sheep have had decades of 1)'Murica is the greatest at everything and 2) anything against us is evil socialism/communism. Thus, fear of Biden. The right wing propaganda machine is very effective over there...

It's very effective over here too.

How many times did I hear that Corbyn is evil and wants to turn the UK into a communist state during our last election?

Fuck me, the amount of people voting for Tories who are constantly getting screwed by them, it's America lite

It's been days and BK has not apologized for the stutter thing or responded to the question.

This doesn't feel good for me. I try to engage without being mean and he doesn't engage back.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Good one!

And here's one of general talking everyone down from the chaos by a former FBI agent. It's a really calming thread.

My sister in law, who lives in Conservative Saskatchewan (and thus is in that echo chamber) but is smart...fell for the election conspiracy about Republicans being denied entry to the counting places. I sent her the above twitter thread debunking it. IT's so weird to have someone you respect and care about fall for such a mindlessly stupid Trump-spun lie...but this really is the result of a living in a largely conservative Province in Canada. OUR Conservative pundits spew Trump shit too...oi! It hurts my head.

Some right wing people I know who fall into the bracket of pro-Brexit, relatively poor and badly educated people are convinced Biden is a paedophile. I assume this is a continuation of the pizza thing during the Hilary Clinton presidential run? I only heard about it last night as Mr PigDog is FB friends with them and I was like "What?" But they totally believe it.

It's because Biden is one of those physically affectionate people who doesn't seem to understand modern boundaries. There are lots of videos of him getting huggy with women and little girls and doing things like sniffing their hair.

And yet they ignore actual blatant paedophiles and sex pests like, I dunno, random example, Donald Trump...

Ahhhh Colorful Colorado. You other states need to climb up a few rungs to get on our level. Some call us "California lite", but naw, we do it with our own style. We're the first state to legalize that sticky icky icky (like six years ago) *dusts-off-left-shoulder, now you all are coming late to that party and want to take a rip. You can scrape our bowl for that headache inducing bong resin, we done already smoked the good stuff. We also got Hicky-loops that senate seat. The rest you states are all like "naw, we good with the brown noser and will keep Trump rubber stamp in there."

Now we gonna have stoned wolves. You guys want this smoke, but I don't think you can handle it yet, and are not cool enough. You're still trying to figure out how to not have toxic lead in your drinking water.
