Signalling cases are meant to be obvious so that they can be discounted as such. I think in this case anyway. I did think they where one and the same person posting.

4 factions and one unkown IF there are 5 factions. I'd prefer to lynch a Korean poster over a Japanese poster just to look at this and make sure we aren't being infiltrated by Korean spies like someone mentioned earlier. Korean has no context in the game and it is weird people are posting in it to be honest. Merrid or Eloth though that is what i'm thinking at the moment.

Merrid's signaling case is a good one though. As was mentioned, japanese and korean are not right next to each other, and one of the factions are korean(?). The question mark meaning I've no knowledge of japanese history.

I almost loose interest, my tail stopping its excited jerking, as I think about the prejudice against Korean. I mean freedom of expression (oooooo, now I'm feeling some expression, ohhh delicious...). ah drifting along, but considering the consistently, mocking, error-prone tone of my conversations, I am surprised to see people missing such trends, not putting it all together and thinking, mmmmm that clever hunk of day 1 funness, he's got something good to offer under all those glistening scales.

because it is a good question.

As for not mentioning a team: suppose we have a faction structure where each player knows one other of their faction, and this may not be mutual knowledge, signalling you are on someone's side without mentioning a team is perfectly clear. As such, the initial use of Korean was weird and may be fishing for a reply in a kind. It may also be not. However, replying in the same way could be signalling "I am on your team."
Mind, I am of the opinion that this too is too overt to be credible. If anything, it may be fake symping. However, it does raise two questions.

1) why was there a post in Korean to begin with?
2) why was there another post in Korean?
