Fujiwari nodded, seemingly distracted. "They are all scattered before me, why do they still resist?" Gen overheard his master mutter. "I will become as Hojo wished to be himself. No matter how strong Masamoto things he is, he still serves that worthless ass in Kyoto." Fujiwari turned and focused once more on his general. His gaze sharpened. "You have done well. Now, go out and finish it."

"HAI!" Iida shouted, banging his fist on his breastplate and bowing.

Takeda Nerumu of the Ashikaga (Sheltatha Lore, Jump Around) is dead.

Just so you know korv i already had it on sheltatha for tonight i confirmed before i went to bed, i had no intention of not voting for fener. I hope you do recruit me but i'm not very optimistic that you will.

That being said i.ll change my provisional to kesso so should your guy because even if he has a bp two targets should be able to kill him

The Fujiwari met the remains of Ashikaga Yoshiaki's army on a plain strip of land between Izu and Odawara. It was close enough to the ocean to hear the cry of seabirds, and a brisk breeze brought the faint hint of salt. The Ashikaga fought bravely. The Fujiwari fought with a dogged determination. When the surprise attack came in the form of reinforcements from Miura Yoshiatsu, it proved to be the end of the battle for the Ashikaga, and the beginning of the end of any Shogunate foothold on the Kanto. Ashikaga Masamoto's head was displayed for a long time in the town beneath Odawara Castle. With their new found allies, the Miura, the Fujiwari had done exactly what Hojo Souen had hoped to do just 1 year earlier. Together they began shoring up their armies for any possible retaliation from the Ashikaga, and any further incursions from the Takeda or Uesugi.

Part of this defensive preparation was a pre-emptive strike on the remaining armies of Ashikaga Yoshiaki who fled the battle field after Masamoto had been captured. Yoshiaki himself led the desparate retreat, before Yoshiatsu's fresher troops caught him in Izu. Yoshiaki capitulated, and Miura Yoshiatsu took him as a hostage back to Kamakura.

The Takeda, Uesugi, Miura and Ashikaga have been defeated. Congratulations to the Fujiwari, lead by The Dude (Korvalain) joined by
King Lear (Korlat)
D’rek (Merrid)
Starling (Olar Ethil)

Awesome game Shin! I had a ton of fun, especially the verbal sparring with Fener (Khell?).

Leave it to me to recruit twice from my own team and once from a NK victim...

Great job Fuji's! I thought Omtose played particularly well . Same with Korlat. (Omtose well enough that i tried to recruit him night one, and Korlat night 3). Olar also did a great job of laying low once recruited.

And to top it all off, Ment died. It was glorious!
