Breaking the curses would be interesting indeed. First he has to build something that does not crumble to ashes under him. Then he has to Ascend. Then he has to die. Might be hard to encapsulate all that in one novel, though.
I cant think of a better place for him to do it personally and it will have Kallor go full circle a character with possibly a reckoning with Ardatha. Kallor returns to Jacuruku, the place he turned 13 million people to ash and builds anew. He doesnt have to cover everything and we could end up with a BH style exit where SE gives us what the new Kallorian Empire will become like with Felisin new empire in 7c. Who knows his desert warriors might win him an empire from Ardatha and he might go from there.
I really liked his little cameo in TCG that really highlighted the longevity of Kallor and how many fingers he had in so many pies over the years.

We got that moment in TTH when he learned of the Jaghut war against Death.
Personally I want to see Kallor ascend. I want to see him finally break those curses.
Yeah I remember - but I was thinking more simpler and small scale. Like for an individual and their personal situation/predicament .....a little like how we see Dancer/Cotillion cry when he talks with Apsalar after he reports he lost track of crokus (BH I think??) - a totally different thing, but a god crying for an individuals personal pain still made a very powerful scene to me ... even if it was one of the more decent ones. I guess what I mean is a little empathy as much as compassion
I could definitely see him ascending now that the curse on Draconus seems have been broken - how about Lord/God of Empathy????
Im not sure if he cries in HOC when its just him and Cutter/Apsalar in Pusts temple but in TBH he starts crying after the Edur/Icarium assault on the children is stopped by the Eresal.
