Anyhow, I am out. No idea how much time is left in the day. If not too drunk, I may log in when back from the football.

Yes, yes I have. Now that we've found common ground; what do you think of Korlat?

Currently no opinion.
I'm in a hurry and frankly, also too pissed off to go and do a re-read on them, can't remember them being around much but that is likely timezone related. I seldom have an opinion of people after 1.5 days of playing, frankly, except for those who stand out.

I'll go and take a bit of distance from the thread now. My main gutfeeling at the start of today, end of yesterday, was that Atrahal might be scum. Too many terse, extremely controlled replies.

Catching up on my phone, won't be able to post properly till later but there's loads of time left.

This last episode, while entertaining (i'm a fan of twists) seems entirely unnecessary. I just don't understand how it came about. I thought that Osseric's reveal was just sarcasm trying to attract an NK and I thought that was clear....

I know people are happy to jump on any old thing in Mafia, but come on....

Once again Osseric is attracting all the attention and I think that's likely to be highly counter-productive.

I'm still inclined to be suspicious of Eloth or Atrahal, despite his silencing, at the moment.

Caught up.

@ Osseric- even when you try to be helpful it back fires. Dominate day one, and now have a hand in dominating day 2.

@Shelly- c'mon it was pretty obvious what he was doing. Read it in context. he was being all pissy and butt-hurt at the time. he asked for a NK. What better way than to claim healer.

@Sorrit- Your "case" on me is garbage. Regardless of my thoughts or misunderstanding of Osseric's poorly designed idea to lynch the silenced person, I voted Tiam for a reason. I voted Tiam with evidence, I was the first person on the Tiam train when Osseric was clearly going to go down based upon the erratic play that you are defending. If you are going to vote me, vote me for being UB to Osseric's BB. Otherwise you aren't using any logic and are just throwing shit against the wall to see if it sticks.

To those of you that claim that the Tiam lynch was wasted... how so? It was a day 1 lynch. What more info would we have garnered from an Okaros lynch. If he comes back inno, I can just see the sheeple clamoring for Osseric's head, then we are likely 2 innos down. If we lynch osseric and he comes back inno, where does that leave us? With a nagging feeling that we should probably lynch Okaros because Osseric was inno and just might have been right. It's a day 1 lynch, take it for what it is, learn from it and move on.

Currently, my suspicions are among the low/mid posters on the Tiam train.

@ korlat & okaros: you seem to forget you (Okaros, also Sorrit) had him PIed. If scum doesn't kill on that basis (having a likely inno around) going on with a healer reveal won't make much difference either to attract a kill.

Furthermore, if town is to see through this one must expect scum to do so as well. Scum isn't playing in stupid universe. Freebies don't exist. Those of you who consider his claim a ploy forget a killer reads as well as we do, with the same intelligence.

with that in mind, there was a decent chance that it was used for a different ploy. A ballsy scum going on theory to PI themselves, then futily claim healer as added antics and not get killed would be strong. Unorthodox, but very well placed and able to slip up, then point at previous things like this to claim loose, excentric play and dodging night kills by being lynchable. He'd make endgame easily.

So I called him out, because there was a chance to catch him in a bold faced lie. In a normal game I wouldn't, but we have to find BB asap so I took a risk.

This was from my phone, don't expect much else soon.

that logic is flawed. there are only 2 scum, and they know eachother. It doesnt matter to them that someone is PIed, they already know everyone who is town. they just want to find the roles

Ehm, scum never cares. A PI does matter for town because it is 1 less suspect, reducing the number of people that can be scum by 1.
It is therefore good play for scum to kill such people, as it doesn't give town new info and removes someone who is 'guaranteed' to have town's best interests at heart, and who the otbers recognize as such.

Funny how you only look at it from the scum angle, though. Does wonders for your credibility.

I thought of PIs being good for town, but i didnt make the connection that they would kill them. Youre right, though.

Either way, a lot of people think i'm scum. They probably didnt kill me cause i'm a controversial figure and it'll be easy to railroad me

Again?

I didn't attack the Tiam lynch and based my suspicion of you on that. Did you just purposefully misunderstand a second time?

I became suspicious of you because you failed to understand Osseric and my own arguments so massively I have a hard time believing it was done through anything other than design.

I would like to believe that those who jumped onto the Tiamathia vote early on were just townies relieved at having such a straightforward lynch true to mafia hatred of low posters. However, I am also interested in how some people (like OE) have Tiam at the top of their list with no mention of Silanah. Probably just carelessness, but I would bet money that there will be scum behind this vote.

I really don't like this post. Karat gives in to a lynch inevitable, but makes sure he pours these caveats on afterwards. Putting the vote up first, and then coming up with a couple more posts in a row to basically water down their own vote, just seems like scum gleefully dropping a vote, and then realizing they'd better contribute so as not to seem bloodthirsty.

The so-called swing votes (4 and 5 positions) were Atrahal and Sheltatha. Sheltatha doesn't really strike me either way. They voted elsewhere, and seemed to justify their vote well enough.

Atrahal's progression to the vote bothered me though, and ends up tied to Eloth in my mind. Basically, he asks the thread if we should consider going after low posters. Then, Eloth makes the quote case on Tiam. Atrahal does some other discussion and then does this:

Well, I'm ready to proceed, based on all avaiable info. We need to move forward, I'd prefer to not miss a lynch opportuntiy

Vote Tiamatha

This vote came about 7 hours before timeout. This is a swing vote, with some strong directional language behind it. "We need to move forward, I'd prefer not to miss a lynch opportunity"

And if i was scum, as you want to point out, how does me misunderstanding what you are trying to say work into my grand design?

Also, I wasn't saying you attacked the Tiam lynch, there were those that did. That part was directed at the thread, not at you. Else I would have included it into the @Sorrit paragraph.

I know I am not stupid, I doubt you are as well, but the fact that you are having such an issue getting your point across says something to how you are presenting it. You may continue consuming the dicks.

EDIT: This whole post was directed at Sorrit. I X-posted with Atrahal.
