After a fight lasting almost a week, the beasts are exhausted. The lure of Korabas has long been forgotten; the lethal presence of the two intruders in their midst has been bringing the flock to its knees.

"It's him, says Shelthata, wiping blood from her face, it can only be him"
Silanah, with whom she shared a special bond, could only agree.

A dark glimmer appears in Karattalid's crazed eyes.

"Why you might just be right…"

With a sharp claw, he slices his own throat, with a demoniac laugh that chills the bone of the survivors.

It takes some time for his song to end, in a dark flash of some unknown magic, but in the silence that follows, looking at his lifeless corpse collapsed on the ground, there is a second of hope.

"Good call, dear" says Silanah to her lover

"Why thank you…"

Somehow the voice is different. Silanah slowly turns towards her.

"Shelly?…"

"Ah, so you're a woman now?" Out of nowhere, Eloth approaches the sitting figure of what used to be Shelthata Lore.

"Well, hopefully when I sunder the correct bits will come back"

"If not, I'll help you find a nice husband and settle somewhere nice"

"One more joke and I'll make sure you don't have those dangling bits anymore either"

Speechless, Silanah looks as the two strangers approach her, a lethal look in the eyes. She looks around for help, but the only one left besides the three is Olar Ethil, slumped on the ground, drunk as always.

She has no time to understand what is happening, as sharp claws dig at her throat and belly.

Sucks. I had Karat and Eloth as my 1 and 2 scum on day 3. Fucking missed lynched sidetracked me into thinking that was smrt.

I wish I'd had more time to play full on. Good game scum.

It is now 2-2 in the Benses vs town games.

Town got a big blow in this game by losing their strongest role to a night 1 kill (which, like day 1 lynches, are often more or less random). It's impossible to take these extreme events into account when the balance is sest, though.

Nor should you
When eye-ing the balance, in a regular M&P game, you gave town a significant advantage. Even with the BB-jump in mind, town had plenty of power on paper. In practice, even with HD dead, we did fairly well - all other roles survived until the endgame. Balance was just fine.
