Wow, Dolmen, it looks amazing! I haven't really been following the developments beyond the artwork but I love the info, quotes etc. Now I want one with all characters, ever ^_^

A tiny thing though, Hood is credited to nachtfrost and while I don't mind, since it's far from the happiest I've been with something, she might :D

NO WAY?!! I can't believe I got that wrong!
Huge apologies. Ok I've edited it to reflect your account: sunshymoose?.
I'll add you onto the roll call list as well, really sorry Is.
give my net about an hour to re-upload the edited RAR file.
(Yes, an hour. house connection is the unholy spawn of dial-up, of this I am certain)

@sappers Rule: I understand its a link open to anyone. St.ash is meant to be identical
to mediafire in that regard. The download button is in the top right hand part of the
page. If you cant get a hold of it I'll ask someone with a reliable upload account
to upload it and post a link for people with similar problems.

Same as Sapper, it even says that Shadaan has limited the viewing of this artwork to members of the deviantArt community only. Log in or register.

Guess I won't mind to register, but that will have to wait until tomorrow after work. Sleepy time soon.

Can't wait for the Female calender, that one is going up my wall.

I'm not a member (yet), so it didn't work.

Going to register tomorrow, to tired atm to pay attention to any registration process.

karsas book list is a little wacky dolmen, neither house of chains or bonehunters are included. memories of ice is in there too, and i don't know where karsa appears in that.

ooh damnit, those darn gremlins! Ok i'll post up a karsa fix today.

Im unable to setup an external upload could someone, with the goods in hand already, please upload it on mediafire on my behalf? The alternative is the whole site joining DA which is admitedly over and above the call.

Great work guys, some comments on book lists, they seem a bit wacky for a number of characters:

Hood is listed as appearing in GotM, MOI, HoC, MT, TBH, and TTH, if we are going off actual appearances and not just mentions then as I remember he is only in MOI, MT, TTH, DoD and tCG.

Whiskeyjack: I'm not sure he actually appears in tBH

Silchas Ruin: Not in tBH, don't remember him making an appearance in TTH either

Tehol: doesn't make a physical appearance in tCG, Letherii not letharii

Dassem: dessembrae not dassembrae, says toll of the hounds should be toll the hounds, 'his mastery of the sword peaked by the weapon feeding on his will to that effect', doesn't really make sense as you don't mention he wields the sword vengeance, maybe just knock that sentence off

Karsa: does he appear in DoD?

Icarium: says reapers gate not reapers gale

Cotillion: you make the distinction here between esslemont and erikson books, but you don't make that distinction for the rest of the calendar

Rake: He doesn't appear in HoC, MT or tBH

Also your quote system is a bit varied, sometimes you say the book, sometimes the book and page, sometimes the book, page and edition, and sometimes neither... personally I think you should go for either just the book, or nothing

Great work on the calendar, looking forward to the female calendar (feel free to PM me text if you want me to read it over)

If your looking for an external venue to host the file I'm sure we can put it up on the site itself somewhere, just PM silencer (or upload it to the gallery).

EDIT: i've created a section of the gallery to upload calendar images too, when you have the final set of images uploaded we can upload them to the gallery for those who don't have a da account

Absolutely beautiful work! I wish you'd included QB, Kalam and Oseric... Maybe a Crimson Guardsman like Blues or Iron Bars?

Dolmen, thanks ever so much for your artistic skill, altruistic admin efforts and time to get these calendars together and coordinating the contributions from the other artists. you've done an amazing job. kudos!
and to all other artists- thanks for getting together and go through with this project- it's awesome!
will we be able to buy them in order to contribute towards the support costs of the empire?

ps. i couldn't look at it neither, it tells me what it told sapper and dutch, need to be member and the only allow a certain number of visitors and such.

We have voted and the character had to be backed up by one of our female members before entering the poll.

But probably there is artwork on a lot of characters here in the Malazan Art section and on DA.

ok I'm getting to the wrap up point for this project but I really dont have much information to go on.

IH I'm PMing you with a list of character info I can't find or reliably remember. however there are somethings
I want to double check with the entire forum.

Alignments have been set thusly:

Apsalar = shadow
laseen = Malazan empire
Sinter and Kisswhere = Malazan Empire
Masan Ghilani = Malazan Empire
lostara yil = Malazan Empire
Hellian = Malazan Empire
Setoc = Wolves of war, Winter

Alignments for the following characters have not been solidly identified.

Spite and Envy

Hetan

Huntress

Shurq Ellale

Kilava

Can I please get a consensus from you guys as to what would feel right for the listed characters.
