The same could be said for you, and this analysis. You didn't really say anything, just basically reposted his posts and explained what they were saying. You then go on to vote him for being middle of the road. I think YOU, sir are also being middle of the road while attempting to look like you are doing something. That seems more like scum play than Emur, to me. (yeah yeah symping emur rabble rabble)
This post made me laugh. Sure, the analysis isn't striking, but the act of making a case on someone (i.e. sticking my neck out to actually make a clear declaration about someone) is hardly being middle of the road. Middle of the road to me implies not expressing any particular opinion or pushing particular people.

I want to hear HP's response to our little back-and-forth before I vote, because in my eyes this puts you in the mix more than I thought before. Gotta grab a bite, eh? Not spending much time playing the game, as others have said. This is some really ridiculous speculation, but if some Nepeth knew each other and then saw HP vote Omtose, wait till another lynch train started to form, and then followed along.... could even be signaling. I realize the entire case on Omtose is just the low-posting no-content sing-a-long mafia play-style, but fuck me if he's not scummy.

Hey, look who showed up.
As of right now, SA is definitely super suspicious. That being said, Korva showing up actually makes his odds of being scum greater, not less. He showed up once he got pressure and gives excuses. Maybe they're true, but there's no guarantee. If Korva hadn't shown up at all for a few more minutes (I just got home) I would have removed my vote from him and gone after SA or Omtose.
My actual reason for voting you, just so you know, was to get some actual pressure going (1 vote doesn't count for shit) to see if you decided to show back up. The reasons for voting you from HP weren't important, your seeming reaction to them was.
Since he's shown up, I'm pretty sure my vote is staying where it is.
If we do lynch Korva, and he comes up non Nepeth, HP looks suspicious as fuck for derailing one of the other two people, and one of them would likely being Nepeth as well.
Does that all make sense? I don't think I'm completely off-base here.

I can't say I blame you for your reaction. I would have reacted similar if I were in your place.
I knew there was only one hour left when I got home, so of course I would check here to see what had happened. Bad timing I guess.

I also thought it interesting Korv hedged his vote on SA by bringing up Omtose as well. Maybe if, by avoiding a lynch today, he hopes to get things going on Omtose tomorrow.

I started making waves on thread very early in the day, trying to produce more discussion from everyone. Trying to find scum. I made notes on every player. When Liosan made his case on Emur I immediately posted my thoughts which were similar to his. Now that made me look scummy? I then added thoughts about Ano, D'riss etc looking at what I thought of each player. I'll copy and paste Korvalian in a moment but he was up there too. I know we have a great shot at hitting Nepeth, it's a good chance Omtose, Korvalian and D'riss are Nepeth. It's taken to long to get here and time is running out.

I think that apart from all the things already mentioned it is also noteworthy that the train on Serc picked up when HP changed his vote to him and thus removed his vote from Omtose, who was the only alternative to Serc that came up during day 1.
Now this, THIS is gold.
What Korv is saying here is that people were inclined to follow my vote onto Serc and what he is implying is that I am some sort of known role that other players know as if I were their faction leader in a typical merc game. I am not and they don"t and as far as I am aware there is no reason to think ANYONE in the game knows anyone else. But Korv doesn"t think so. To him the idea of another player knowing me isn"t unusual at all. If it was, he would have felt the need to explain it more thoroughly but he didn"t - he felt he could just point at the concept"s general direction and that everyone would get that.
Why does he subconsciously not bother to have to explain that? Well because he himelf does have role-PM knowledge of another character or even off-thread communications with them. To him its perfectly natural that that would be in this game, but for most of us I believe that is not the case and we would not so easily assume others would know what we are implying from pointing out a vague train shift following a vote switch.
Now who do you think would have knowledge or off-thread comms with another player? Well in most town v scum games it is the scum, whom the Nepeth most closely match. Going by the factions and roles of this game, it makes sense the Nepeth armies would be working together and so would know or talk to each other. But I don"t see much of a bond between merchants of various houses, khansmen of different clans, street orphans or an immortal Qadi. So if Korv has this knowledge, which I think he does, then he is Nepeth.
Vote Korvalain
This is really weird. Korv just made an observation, and HP really over reacts here. In many faction games the "scum" faction know eachother. I wouldn't be surprised if some Nepath knew one another. The funny thing is, that I think this post makes HP look more non nepath. Not because of what he says, (because I do think he is over reacting and Korv actually had a good point), but of how he reacts. It doesn't even cross his mind that Nepath might know one another. to me this is telling and drops HP down on my list of possible Nepath.
His post however, doesn't sway me one way or another on Korv being scummy as, to me, he made a really good observation.
I agree with pretty much all of this except how does it clear HP? HP way overplayed his hand on his weak Korvalain case, and he goes out of his way to explain the little details. In fact, by bringing it up so clearly it's like he's trying to accuse Korv of what HP is being accused of. Korv says HP's vote might have swung the lynch and it's possible others knew he was on their team, and HP's accusation is that EVERYONE already knows that, so now that he's explained what everyone is assuming....vote Korv? Makes no sense to me.
Nope. Korv wasn"t even much accusing me, he was more accusing Omtose in his noting that the train was eager to switch away from Omtose. But even if you take it as him accusing me, it is a completely different accusation than what I leveled back at him so your sentence makes no sense.
Er, he was? I don't see any posts of him accusing Omtose of anything. It seemed to me he was saying the lynchpin (PUN!) of the Serc train was when you switched from Omtose to Serc. Your reasoning for your accusation was that he was assuming some Nepeth players would know each other...and then you went on to explain how obvious that is and it's suspicious that Korv didn't explain how obvious it was. Then you vote Korv. Makes. No. Sense.
Otherwise I'm quite confused.
The whole "and thus removed his vote from Omtose" seemed extraneous and that"s what made me think he was pointing more at Omtose.
