Malazan Empire: Warren Names - Malazan Empire

So, here's a thread where I sort of collect what I've been screaming from the rooftops and offer some theories as to why the Warrens are named what they are, and some general observations concerning the names.

Tellann- One seems to have been named for the other. Tlan means flint, and a single ' changes the meaning, so maybe the extra "el" changes it too.
Thyrlan- Tellann comes from Thyrlan. There is similarily between the two names, particularily if Thyr is pronounced "teer".
Thyrlan and Thyr- Obviously Thyr comes from Thyrlan.
Telas- Child of Tellann, so it has a similar name.
Denul- Shedenul, one of the names of Soliel.
Serc- Osserc, AKA Osric and Osseric.
D'riss- D'rek. The Worm is related to earth, and also to Pestilence as Poliel=D'rek.
Ruse- Nerruse. Also possibly Beru.
Galain and Demelain- Related Warrens, so therefore similar names?

I'm stumped on Emurlahn, Mockra, Rashan, Meanas, and Phellack though. Mayhap these will come clear in time.
