Right, well we've been doing this for a long time now and it seems like it's about time we had a think about when we might do it this year.

The potential dates would be:

December 3rd (which frankly seems rather early)

December 10th

or December 17th.

Sorry I've left it late, but the year is just getting away from me.

As usual we can sort details out later, but Manchester. plus us. plus you. plus booze. Is the normal format. Start around 1ish, finish when we're done.

Yay for the manly meet. I vote 17 as I am doing things on the 10th. Booze is always a plus too :-)

Sounds cool. If I'm still in Manc by then, would love to meet some of youz.

I'd hopefully be able to make it down for the 17th, would definitely work in best for getting to Glasgow for the train, probably could bribe a lift off my brother or dad.

I'm sure I can show my face on 17th... The 3rd does seem ridiculously early - might as well have it in November! - and I know that at least one regular attendee can't make it on the 10th...

So that's my tuppence worth...

If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. There is already a thread on this topic somewhere in the Inn, in which Fid tried to figure out which date would fit most people's schedules...

I'll be in Manchester on 17th, and would love to see you all. :unworthy:

I think I'm free all 3 dates, but if it ends up being the 10th I'm going to have to insist we sit in front of a tv that has skysports new on so I can check the Arsenal Everton score regularly.

Might be I'll be able to attend this time, seeing how I didn't get to go to the bbq this summer and all.

10th is the only feasible option for me but as I said in the other thread, it may be best to count me out of things and then if I am in Manc that weekend and if it is going ahead that weekend, I'll come!

Pretty much definitely out, I'm afraid.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I'm definitely out unfortunately. Flying Manky visit to see the family on 10th and that's it for me. This Christmas, my Malaz friends come second to my family. If you knew my family, you'd be offended by that but you guys can't psychologically torment me like they can. I know it won't be any good without me, but you should at least try to have some fun, okay? ;)
