Just who are the two T'lan Imass that attack Heboric, Cutter & company on Otataral Isaland?

Should I know who they are or is it just a case of RAFO ?

I'm unclear on the need to kill Heboric, though. Just an opportunity to take out another god's Destriant? Seems odd, given Heboric's connection to the CG.

He was the most dangerous (along with Greyfrog) of Felisin's protectors. The Unbounf were just taking precautions.

Indeed... it may be that the Unbound had in fact TWO reasons for attacking the group. Heboric did stop the destruction from the falling sky, the act of which seems to scream "CG"... BTW, in that chapter we do find out that Heboric was the Shield Anvil not the Destriant.
