Ah, I see it ended, good thing I wrote up those final scenes in advance. Congrats to dkt and Mott! Hope everyone else had fun and thanks for the compliments!

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Venge, you are one fo the people that made it deadly obvious you were on my team.

then I got the illumination and you weren't in Luo Yang, unlike all the other Xia.

I immideately dicounted you as Xia.

I'm sorry.

Sniff... I do everything fucking possible to make sure that you know that I am on your bloody team on day one. Then I CF as on your team and you don't lynch DKT the following day....sigh... Never mind that I spent 3 useless days tracking and attacking DKT...

Please for the love of GOD come to chicago so that I can punch you in the face.

I already stated why I didn't vote dkt the next day
keeping him alive gave me his vote, as well as that of Korlat, and helped Morgy think he could blend in, so gave me good shot at his vote as well.

it allowed me to take the lynches in the other direction, which led to the destruction of Lu. this wasn't my intention (I wanted to hit the MC faction), but in the end, they were still enemies.
so. As much as it may have aggrieved you, and as much as it may have made twelve howl in frustration over his emperor's thickness, I was working on a plan there.

oh, and i'm only flying to Chicago if you pay for the round trip from Winnipeg.

I propose that in the next game I am put on the same team as The Dude and Morgoth, so that I can make amends to them. What say they, good idea no? :unworthy:

Someone has an irritatingly long memory. What can I say, when I start to panic I tend to drag anyone close by down with me...But I'm a reformed character since I came back - this was just a minor blip!

Wow, i've been away from the thread for a while, trouble in work, yet coming back and finidng out that the Warlord and Champion won was awesome, I had thought that Xia looked strongest when I got NK'd by HP. Looking through the thread I think DKT and Mtt played an awesome game, currying favour with the Xia emperor so he keeps them around and the way they diverted lynches away from themselves. I need to have a look at the last 20 or so pages to see how they won it but in my opinion MotM goes to DKT and Mott. Awesome game D'rek, I loved the set up and would play this again anytime! I loved the movement mechanic and the way things were balanced. 10/10 for a great game to watch and to play. Rep coming out to a few people now.
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

We could always replay this setup with the Abyss, Apt and Hetan factions, with smaller "warlord" factions of High House Mafia, Team Quick Ben and Illyunkas as the Usurper.

although given I thought Morgy was the third Yan, i'd have asked you to vote him the next day, presumably.

leaving you to either reveal your allegiance, or vote off Sima.

I was fully prepared to do that to keep the fact that I was recruited a secret for as long as possible. I even asked D'rek if I threw my leader under the bus would I still have a shot at winning just to distance myself from people thinking I was recruited. It worked for when I voted to lynch Tiam. Nobody had me pegged as Xia until you forced me to reveal.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Well, I followed the game on thread as best I could, which took lots of time I probably would have spent working instead. :p Congrats to the White Riders. Ment played well I thought...guess I shouldn't have let him go so easy on day 1. :unworthy:

As far as my play goes.... For anyone who was irritated at my finder-reveal, you can eat me. :) I was literally at like L-2 (WITH 20+ PLAYERS) for absolutely no reason other than I was pretty active on day 1...that's what you get for getting too involved too early. It's pretty hard to defend yourself from nothing, so my time was up. I revealed cause I thought BCS, I get another day to do a find and hopefully pass off that info to someone important; WCS, I get lynched but maybe so does Tiam the next day, which is what ended up happening. It was comical to see people criticize the reveal cause "no one wants a revealed finder", when in fact it was reveal or roll over for the lynch. There were no drawbacks for my faction and I took Tiam down with me, so I'm satisfied with how it played out.

D'rek, this was an epic game, and I was glad to take part it in even for a short while. It was very cool to get assigned the alt I won with in a previous Rot3K game, and for all the complex mechanics, I didn't think balance was a problem. So thanks again for a great series.

You did what you could. I knew my faction, so everyone else was fair game (with a slight emphasis on the important players and Lu faction).

I started repping, ran out, and now I can't remember who I got. So, if you get 2, you're not extra cool, just benefitting from my forgetfuness.

I loved that game, but the last couple days were tense. I felt that there was no hope, that Ment & dkt were allied and nothing I did would change that. I saw comments that I should have tried to work a deal, but it seemed impossible at the time. I kept the hope alive that something would happen, some last minute betrayal to our advantage, and so forth. I would like to have seen the duel play out, but no big deal. I was hoping that BP might save me somehow, but I guess it didn't help in the duel.

Anyway, D'rek super-awesome job setting up that mega game. When reading SH, it reminds of how little I know about this game compared to most of you. Impressive work, everyone.

Was it KL who trapped the Ma Chao in Tian Shui? That was a pain in the butt, but it probably did keep us alive. I figured our Lu's pretty early, but kept stabbing the wrong ones!

Karosis seemed unlynchable

Somebody said Kaschan and I should have been letting each other know who the other was targetting at night. I couldn't think of how to do that with out drawing attention to my fixation on Lu's that needed to die.

Any advice or comments are welcome.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

just to let you know, I was always open to deals. by saying "I felt there was no hope", you mean you didn't even try. you've had nothing to lose by trying.
in particular, looking back, I can't believe I overlooked the fact that Mott was bound to win any duel due to her boost after killing twelve.

after you all teamed up to take out Obdi, I kinda switched to an autopilot. I had zero advantages left and could only hope I would somehow scrape through.
although in retrospect, If we lynched off dkt instead, and then forced the dueling mechanic, with Sheltatha losing, we would've end up with the draw the other way around.

however, as mentioned, I've completely overlooked the crucial point (Mott having a power boost tilting any duel in her favour) at this point.

were either of the MCs to remind me of this point, i'd have been very ready to deal.

i'm guessing the various subforums would be the names of the tiles?

this would cause some clashes of loyalties, since a number of mafiosos are also loyal soldiers of the OverCat

Being easily forgotten comes in really handy sometimes.

I did wonder why no-one seemed to mention the fact I had an advantage but I really didn't think pointing it out would have been in our best interests :unworthy:.

We could always replay this setup with the Abyss, Apt and Hetan factions, with smaller "warlord" factions of High House Mafia, Team Quick Ben and Illyunkas as the Usurper.

i'm guessing the various subforums would be the names of the tiles?

this would cause some clashes of loyalties, since a number of mafiosos are also loyal soldiers of the OverCat
