Oh dear. What was that about listing assumptions? He's not wondering why ALL the Yan players are in Luo Yang? There isn't really another explanation apart from Emperor Special Power (ESP) is there? The assumption of symmetry is a flawed one in any high TMDI game, especially when the mod has shown a willingness to give the factions different abilities earlier in the game (see Special Roles). Just because you can achieve balance by giving each team the same tools doesn't mean that that is the only way to do it - it's just the simplest. And nothing about this game is simple, he should have realised that by now .

Maybe you could tell Telas that you made a mistake and actually his recruit failed? Then he would probably try and recruit Korlat tonight, and less harm is done. You'd still have Korlat trying to push the wrong way for a day though...

Yeah, I told Morgy about the error but haven't said anything to Mott yet. I could always give her the correction and ask her not to use the recruitment PM as evidence on thread, but that doesn't stop her from pushing a telas train (which if she'd never gotten the error would be a perfectly logical thing to be doing right now, too)... well let's see what Telas does for NA and what happens on thread first...
