But in another way, seeing as I had been recruited by that point, revealing Tennes was no skin off my back as they were then in another faction to me! (even if hadn't realised that)

As for keeping going after posting as Mockra when I meant to post as Meanas....there was no way I was avoiding a lynch after that, no way at all. So I thought I might as well go out with a bang. And, in fairness, the final list of suspects I put out were pretty much spot on.

And trust me, I am far more frustrated with the blockhead way I played and went out than you are

See the role PMs. Off the top of my head:

Emperors:
Healing Catapults - heal everyone in a Loocation (must have a Xia in the Loc)
Suppress - guard everyone in a Location (must have a Lu in the Loc)
Illuminate - find everyone in a Location (must have a Yan in the Loc, tells everyone in the Loc the result)
Avalanche - prevents anyone from leaving Chang An and Yong An for a day
Emergency Fleet - moves all Yan to a chosen location
Arrange Blood-Oath - create a permanent lover bond between two players

Prime Ministers:
Augment (Galain) - use on a player and their NAs are unBlockable
Spy Network (Kesso) - listen to Notices in a chsoen Loc for a day, or send a message to Emurlahn
Fearsome Reputation (Barghast) - pick any two standard NAs to Block
Defence of the Realm (all PMs) - use any of Find, Guard or Heal

Assassin:
Assassinate - kill for Qu Yi the assassin, only works in current location
Espionage - tells Qu Yi what alts are in his location

Lover:
Create/Destroy lover bonds - self-explanatory
Forgery - send a message to any non-Lu player during the day, can say whatever you want

If he is in Luo Yang then the recruit most likely came from Xia which means that the Yan still have 4 members the Xia have 4 members and the Lu have 3. A fairly evenly matched game with the two barbarians having 2 still. And Sima Yi at 2 and able to grow. Still anyone's game. I need to continue having successful NAs to keep my team near the top.

Now to the numbers. I can't block a kill that orginates from within my location so I can cross off 7 players of the 17 remaining as who is trying to kill my faction mates. Barghast and Tennes have both been claiming of moving around a lot. Thyrllan would want to go after Emurlahn as he was instrumental in taking out Osseric. Sheltatha Lore I'm fairly sure is a Lu member and is probably hanging out in Han Zhong. Omtose, Silanah, Kaschan and Ruse are complete enigmas to me. Galain and Okaros are getting targeted by my emperor as possible lynch targets.

I guess the best bet is to go with the last two as Emurlahn might have information that I don't know about. Though I would love to target Barghast again.

Okay I can post, i'm alot calmer today, I was irate yesterday! I see that if I didn't move I would still be alive, so it comes down to my decision in the end. I have notes here on Emur being the Xia emperor but I wouldn't have been able to build a case cause I also had 5 players on his team, or thought I did. I had a good few players pegged, and I was ready to to build cases, my action blew it all up!!


I am happy my notice on got JA lynched, I am not happy I pointed out Gamelon's potential signal to serc.



I had a good first few days I think but I should have been thinking of the long haul and maybe posted less agressively, I feel like I handed the game to Xia, they are looking pretty strong right now.

Anyway, I think the action on Osseric has pretty much broken the Lu faction. Thyrllan and Galain were both symping Osseric too obviously, and I think Ruse got fingered as a symp as well although he tried to distance himself. If the Ma Chao have any sense, they'll be able to target the Lu to extinction. Meanwhile Okaros will be able to hide behind his heal (and there probably won't be enough coordination to bring him down among the three remaining players, as Thyrllan hasn't been able to contact Ruse properly yet, and even if they do they'd still have to figure out that their kill attempts were failing due to healing).

So on night one there was you and Tennes in our capital and you didn't think that he might be our emperor AND that for him to be an enemy he would have had to move two places at least. If you read through the thread you highlighted his alt, to Emurlahn(who has him as Yan Emperor), Ruse, (who said he must be an Important Yan) and so on. You must have had an incling they were on your team mate. If you thought your lynch unavoidable then you didn't have to mention them at all.

Getting interesting on thread now - starting to get more diverse options for lynches now .

- Ruse is dead on with his Tennes case, he just needs some more evidence to prop it up for others to consider. I guess anything that Meanas said in his outburst is being viewed with suspicion, but it shouldn't be - that post in particular was from before he went off the rails.

- Omtose...he shouldn't be insulting people like that. IMO, calling someone a retard is not acceptable behaviour. But in any case, he's really not helping himself with all the ranting and raving. He should have seen from the way I went down in flames that people aren't responding to that stuff at the moment.

- I think the illumination stuff has the potential to land a lot of people in hot water. The fact that the Xia are reacting with surprise to the mechanic should be enough to give them away. I don't know that Barghast will be able to make the accusations of Telas stick today, although the stigma of being a barbarian will probably bring him down eventually. Question is, will that be before or after Tennes is killed?

Each of the 3 unique roles had its downsides. Thyrllan/Lady Zuo can't Forge to her own teammates, limiting team collaboration to 2 people at best and can't do any non-communication actions. Omtose/Qu Yi has to be in the same location to kill someone, and given movement it makes it hard for him to make sure of someone with a find and kill them (so I expected him to run around the middle kingdoms using Espionage a lot and killing whatever alts he sees because his allies won't likely be outside of Xia lands... venge instead seems to have gone for a Find-then-Kill approach which is more certain but as we can see has gotten him no kills so far {helped not at all by Emur healing Luo Yang all the time}). The Nanman are arguably the most powerful specialists in that one can heal the other from a further back location while the other can kill, find, or whatever. Alternatively you can use one to guard and another to kill the same target or other combos. The downside with them is that you have to manage two alts effectively, because if one gets lynched you're gone, and you don't know your emperor which makes it harder to blend in with your own teammates.
