I'm excited to have some people to talk to about these books.. I'm reading RG now..

It's been really awesome to read a series of books in which every book I have laughed, been super angry, and cried like a big baby.. every book so far as I can remember

Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Nope, this is unfounded sir Admin.

There is NO creeping at all in Jade's post. He was commenting on odd breathing mask (totally odd, sorry Abstruse), and cool as shit goggles (they are totally cool, I like me some steampunky goggles)...

...not at all creeping. In fact this is beginning to stretch into ridiculous territory. Jade is WELL WITHIN his rights to comment on the steampunk accessories the new member posts in her picture. He's not saying Nice tits, or nice ass, or you look hot, or even "Cutie" as I was once reprimanded for using. If we are not allowed to comment on the pic at all, then why one earth does it merit posting? Shouldn't an admin then remove said pic since it's not (in those ridiculous terms) going to contribute to the conversation?

Let's be real here man. Call a spade a spade when it's a spade...but don't call a spade a spade when it is clearly a fire truck.

Sorry Abstruse that this welcome to the forum thread is being derailed.

KK, I can't agree with you. You can say you like the goggles themselves without eliciting the feeling of creepiness in other forum members, and in all likelihood Abstruse herself. It's not pleasant to meet some people and be creeped out by them. Some members of the forum like the joke and innocent flirting that can occasionally happen around here, but not straight off the bat with people they don't know.

Huh, well I honestly didn't read anything into the "goggles" comment at all. In fact I thought it was about the goggles, cause goggles is cool. Perhaps I'm naive, I dunno.

At any rate, yeah Abstruse, sorry if the welcome derailed. We are pleased to have new members indeed.

I didn't read it that way at all. But hey *puts hands up* if that's the general consensus I'll concede. I just think we are all starting to get upset over minor "tone" and "meaning" issues is all. Just MHO though.

:respect:To clear things up a little, I dont ALWAYS dress like that.. though I enjoy steampunk, and have a very post apocolyptic feel and opinion for the style..



I felt no creeping from the comments.. and I find the behind the couch guy really adorable.. In fact I posted the photo hopefully expecting someone to be interested in costuming/steampunk.. I'll admit, I am a costume designer, seamstress, tailor, wedding planner... nerd




Also, to my friend above mister robin goodfellow... be you the one they call hobgoblin? (festival theme this year was midsummer nights dream.. I took a swamp nature type aspect to Puck in my costume)
