Yeah, somebody posted a link in the Ye Big Videogames thread I believe.

I'm looking forward to it as well.

But I want a lot of improvements:

1) Vastly improved environment locations. Not just one desert area after another. I want nature in all parts of the spectrum from burning desert to freezing wasteland to lush jungles and smashed cityscapes.

2) Better and more interesting enemies. One can only kill so many Skags and desert hobos before one gets bored. More Aliens. More humanoid warriors. Robots. Plant monsters. What ever. Just give us more.

3) More than 12 or so weapons with a million different stats. I would like to actually have something more to choose between than for example just a full automatic assault riffle and semi-automatic assault riffle with a useless scope. Allow me to strip a weapon and piece it together as I like please.

4) Body armor. Give us shield for explosive damage and energy weapons. Give us body armor for melee damage and projectiles. Mix it up. I like collecting weapons but the appealing thing about a Diablo type RPG is also to collect all the pieces of some legendary armor set.

5) An actually good story and some proper bosses that can't just be cheesed by unloading 300 shotgun rounds into its ankle.

I know its really, really, really early in the process. But all but #4 seem to be things they're trying to improve.

TRYING and ATTEMPTING being the key words the big wigs at Gearbox are using. Like your decisions actually affect the overall story and such.

So, fingers crossed!!!

I'm excited. Plus all of Apt's suggestions are awesome, I'd love to have armor collecting as well as weapons, makes it more fun imo. That is part of why I loved Too Human, it was a fun dungeon crawl with lots of different loot being dropped.

I loved the first BL, but still haven't finished all the DLC. I've been too busy lately, but pretty soon I'll get a chance. The arena missions are hard solo though.

There's 2-4 player LAN, yes.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

So there are two different answers. Can I play 2 player co-op on the same 360 on the same TV?

yes, 2 players can play on the same xbox. If you system link two of them, 4 people can play, which is what Illy was referring to.

Yup, I need to own this game.

Looks like they've made efforts to expand on the number of environments. The enemies are smarter. There is more variation in the amount of enemies. Better, more varied weaponry. I just hope that they didn't show all the innovations they managed to make in this one clip alone.

I like the humor though. Love his comment on the designers discovering the color green when they were making the landscape. Also the midget meatshield boss was hilarious. Ahhh murderous midgets. How I've missed you.

That was one of the things that made me originally purchase the first.

During the trailer they were listing all the things you could do in Borderlands like millions of guns, co-op and stuff. And the last one is "PUNCH A LEG OF A MIDGET"!!!!!!

Good times. I pre-ordered the next day.

I'm amused that the one tiny short clip managed to address several of Apt's requests :p

I am very much looking forward to it.
Especially since I found out the class name for that guy. Gunzerker ;)
