Right you guys its gonna end up with alot of my questions here so thinking caps on and here's your starters. . .

1.) What governs who can read the Fatid, Deck of Dragons? It is clear you have to be an adept. It appears that you are born with the ability as in Tattersails case and repeated use of warrens doesn’t cause it otherwise Hairlock wouldn’t have asked ‘Sail to read the deck in GotM at the end of chapter Two. Can anyone shed some light on this?

2.) It is known that Gods can offer positions in their House ie Hood to Dassem Ultor. But why didn’t Hood simply take the position back when Dassem swore himself against Hood. Is it not in a God’s power, so they have do it through more subtle (or less subtle Posted Image) ways. Or is it because if God’s gave out these powers with this get out clause no-one would accept them because you would literally become the gods pawn with no free will because they could take it back at anytime if you didn’t do as you were told? However if this is the case then why did the CG/King in Chains give Karsa the position Knight of High House of Chains when he doesn’t even want it and will not do as he is asked (maybe it’s because of this fact, he seems to like contention and chaos, he’s become pretty corrupted). 3.) The Diasporo? Is that the ritual that made the T’lan Imass undead? (GotM end of chapter nine). Also near the end of Lorn and Tool’s exchange Tool says,

Quote

“The year of the Three Hundredth Millenium approaches,” the warrior replied.
“What happens then?”
“Adjunct the Diasporo ends.”

What is the significance of this? Will all the Imass die or is this in reference to the ritual that is talked about in MoI? It’s been a while. Posted Image

4.) Thelomen possess Jaghut blood? In GotM (page 331 regular paperback) Bellurdan Skullcrusher says,

Quote

“As a Thelomen, I possess Jaghut blood, though of course the Gothos would deny it.”

5.) When ‘Sail and Bellurdan incinerated Posted Image each other an unleashing of not only Thyr but also Tellann, Denul, Driss, Tennes, Starvald Demelain and Thelomen Toblakai was recognized by Tool. Is K’rul involved in this?-It’s been a while- Posted Image Who did these warrens belong to? And did the Thelomen Toblakai have a warren of there own, as suggested, or is their sorcery slightly different/powerfull and Tool picked up on this.

6.) How has Kruppe made his soul immune to the younger gods? Surely it is not as he suggested through cynicism (GotM beginning of chapter eleven).

7.) How did Coll come upon the knowledge that there were five black dragons and one red residing within Moon’s Spawn Posted Image ? Or who was it who had spoken through him?

14.) When was Quick Ben a high preist of Shadow? ie Shadowthrone. Was it in the time from when Quick aquired the souls in the Seven cities Deserts to sometime before GotM starts I‘m guessing you would have to be pretty powerful to be a high preist not just a lowly cadre mage as he was before he fled across Raraku. It must be after Kellanved is assassinated/ascended otherwise Shadowthrone wouldn’t know him. And why and when did he reject Shadowthrones patronage after becoming a high preist? Why is Shadowthrone so pissed at him?

Your efforts will be duly noted in texts of High House Tea. Posted Image Posted Image http://www.malazan.c...s/icon_wink.gif
