If you had to pick 15 players consisting of 2 GK's, 5 Defenders 5 Midfielders and 3 strikers who would be in your team. Obviously there us budgets so someone couldn't have the 15 best players in the premier league in the same team as that would take them over budget but who do you think would be a really good team. I'll edit this post either later on or tomorrow with 15 that have done as a preliminary but I will change it accordingly towards the start of the season to take in account transfers.

Also would anyone want to create a league for this forum?

I use the Fantasy Football on

http://fantasyfootball.metro.co.uk/

Any questions welcome. I have played in this one for the last few years and it gets really good throughout the season.

There is a tradition of a malazan fantasy footie league (see half a page below this post <_<) but we usually play it here :D

I simultaneously play them both although I don't like the premier league one that well. The features on the metro site are better, like automatic substitutions if you are away and a player is injured. It goes on for a whole year and is hard to manage properly throughout. Who sets up the league and stuff? Is there a password or details I need to know?

Yep, there's a Malaz fantasy football league run every year (I know because I've won it the past two years MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!), on the official fantasy premier league site. I've never tried the Metro one but I might be interested. I'm not sure who sets up the regular one, but someone always seems to get round to doing it <_<

I worked for a company last year up until a few months ago called Rippleffect. They are a digital agency that specialise in web design, seo, ppc, online marketing and crm systems. Barclays sent out a spec last year to quite a few agencies. Rippleffect was one of them, we created a proposal based on their spec that came to around £210,000 I think it came to in the end but we lost out to one of our competitors who charged a bit more and although they were not as good an agency their proposal must have been better. Anyway, since you mentioned it I thought i'd let you know.

Edit - It wasn't Barclays it was the FA or The Premier League site owners whoever they are. Anyway, the reason they approached us was because we designed and built quite a few of the top premier league football sites including Man City, Everton and Arsenals.

I normally set up the malazan league, but anyone can do it if they want - whoever gets there first normally. We have used the Premier League site for a few years, and previously the Yahoo one... someone else choose!!! Posted Image

Well I vote we continue to use the official one. It has changed loads, but it's mostly cosmetic. New rules this year - you can choose a vice-captain, and assists are given for a player who's fouled if there's a goal directly from the subsequent free kick.

Oh, and the bonus points are no longer entirely random!!! They are now based on some official stats thing - the three players with the highest scores get the bonus points, and if two are tied on first, then they get three each and the third player gets one.

recovering? recovering? I've put in around 350 hours so far in FM 2011, and I will, quite sadly, maintain that pace until 2012 is released, despite winning League Cup, CL, FA Cup and super cups every season is getting somewhat stale (and buying the same players regardless of the team I manage or the formation I choose to play in).

Perhaps not, but it generally works, at the least with first league teams in the better leagues ;).
Besides, it is exactly what the AI does, as well, but with mediocre over-expensive arrivées.

Joined! I'm Dynamo Bike Shed. Still to work out how to change formation, but plenty of time for tinkering before Game Week 1!

It auto sets the formation, ie. if you are 4-4-2 and you remove a defender and put in a midfielder it will auto set to 3-5-2

And I'm Champsalona

Question: Once I've invented a fake UK address in order to register, can I use the same team to multiple private leagues?

Edit: Scratch that, seems they ditched the UK requirement a while ago!
Edit: And yes, I can.

Anyway, I'm in as CPHSpurs.
