coolio. at least we have different reasons for voting you.

though Silanah's zeal is a bit curious.

I'm off for a bit.

I'll keep my vote on Meanas for his heavy "mistake". I mean, WTF?

However, I wouldn't mind Silanah, not OMGUS, but having spectacularly demonstrated on thread that she is neither Xia nor Yan, and possibly a finder.

Here and caught up.

That slip by Meanas was Huge. He said he warrants that the Majority of players don't know their emperor. I know my emperor, and it sounds like a lot of other people do as well. I would hazard a guess that if you have an emperor...you know him. I think it's pretty clear that Meanas is a Barbarian of some sort.

On to Osseric, I would hazard a guess that Silanah has some kind of information. As he states that he thinks Osseric is the Yan emperor..I think we can see where his allegiences are. The thing is..if he does have info, and if Yan IS bigger than other factions. (like emur keeps assuming) it might be in all non Yan players interests to see if Osseric really is the Yan emperor. We have seen a couple of other votes...One on Meanas (justified) and another randon vote on a random person. Not sure who that was ( cant remember) but it seems like a pointed de-rail type vote.

I think Both of these targets are good lynches.

Osseric: It's always good to get an opposing teams emperor (especially one of a large faction), plus we can get some good info from the train in rregards to faction alliance.

Meanas: the Barbarians have been pretty much ignored. We could go here and try and curtail one of the tribes.

I am still mulling what I want to do. But we have 2 very good lynch options imo.

another oddity in connection to the whole "we need 13 votes to lynch Tiam" deal

Thyr has made several posts, in which he has repeatedly stated how it's good that his vote wasn't needed for a lynch. once it was in tesponse to an accusation that he didn't vote. and then he did it again on the Tiam lynch train.

something to keep in mind, in case there's any base to Kesso's speculations.

Why would someone's vote not count, though? That's a bit of a nasty role to have, it's something that becomes pretty obvious as time goes by.

I'm trying to think to what "role" that could be attached, but I don't see it. Was there a precedent in the previous Rot3K games?

no (well, not the ones I've played)
but, iirc, the Rome game had all kinds of voting shenanigans. I distinctly remember a non-voter being experimented with in SOME game, with little effect.

I put some vote-altering mechanincs in the Vampire Masquerade game, too, I think.

the last vote was Sorritt on Atrahal, for being a low-poster.

Word, but unless you have good reason to think I'm not in your faction, think hard at the "case" that I'm an Emperor.

Like I said before, if it's X blocking Y's vote for a day (I think we had something like that at one time), I don't see why lose the element of surprise on Tiam's train, that was such an obvious lynch. Then again, maybe it's decided at the beginning of the day, and can't be changed. It makes more sense than always the same player being impotent.

There's no point in responding to most of Osseric's responses.. Semantics. I'll just leave it up to everyone else.

Although the irony thing was hilarious when I made that post. I cried.

Emur: I wouldn't call it zeal... Made a case and am standing by it so far. And I responsed to his responses :p

The meanas thing is weird. A serious messup. Emur, weren't you saying that meanas and Osseric were connected? I'd have to read back, but I'm getting a headache. It could be Meanas cleverly getting attention off of his emperor.

I need to go get some food. I think I'll leave as well.

It was a genuine mistake, which I didn't explain well enough in the edit. I had a brain melt and for some reason was of the belief that officials in the factions knew the PM, not the emperor (that is, I'd got it into my head that I'd been told my PM by Path-Shaper, rather than my emperor). I realised my error as soon as I posted it.

I know a great deal might be made of this, but this is along the same lines (ironically) as Emurlahn's comma-gate.

I'm certainly not trying to get attention off anyone - especially if that attention is coming on to me. I'm happy to vote Osseric and will likely do so, as I quite like Silanah's case.

Here and catching up, lots of pages to read through, had a quick look over the lynch and the resolution of night, looks like there was definitely a vote that wasn't counted or someone had their lynch blocked in some manner, very interesting. The 'silver spear' made me think of the white riders for some reason but i'm not so sure on the whole.

It seems more likely to me that a vote was blocked - I don't see why anyone would have their vote not counted. Though why it was done on Tiam's lynch makes little sense. Maybe someone decided to have some fun and test out their power? Or perhaps they meant for us to begin suspecting a certain other person, though I haven't the foggiest who.

So we are just supposed to gloss over it? I don't think so.

Actually

vote Meanas

we can always come back to Osseric, but we can't allow the barbarians to run rampant. Plus, I am sure Osseric will be receiving a ton of NA's tonight so we will probably find out more then. This is a 6 way faction game, and as of now we have been only concerning ourselves with 4 of them.

I do actually, but that's besides the point. I'm being forced into revealing what kind of role I have here, but that's my own fault for being so dumb. All officials/officers know their emperor, right? Well, when I was reading Osseric's post, for some reason (I don't know why) it was running through my head that all officials/officers, such as myself, had been given the alt of their PM, not the emperor. I thought that it had been a slip-up by Osseric, that he had some special role which allowed him to know the emperor, or was the emperor himself who didn't realise what his subordinates knew. I realised after I'd posted (unfortunately), that that was wrong and it is the emperor we know, not the PM.

Ugh, yeah. Sorry. I'm sure you weren't the only one to think that I was saying Private Message. Yes, I meant PM as in Prime Minister.

Hello my name is Atrahal, and I am a low poster.

I have no way to change that. I have very little time to put into this game.To be honest I didn't think I would live this long in the game anyway being a low poster. I joined the game so D'rek would have the numbers to run this. I'm hoping to have more time after this weekend to play. That is the best I can do. RL has been a real pain in the ass around here and I have to get a lot of stuff done in the next 48 to 72 hrs that will take away from the game. I have been trying my best just keep up to date with the thread on my phone. The best case so far today that I can see is on Osseric, and I will vote accordingly now because I don't think I will be back by end of day.

Vote Osseric

Come on, semantics? What does that even mean?

In case I missed something, and please correct me if I did, the only places you argue I'm an Emperor are:

Here, Osseric is talking down the importance of finding the usurper asap. Is he doing this because he is the Usurper? Or it could be that he is an emperor that doesn't want lynched.

Like I said, that's not even a sentence, what does that mean??

And there:

Lots of talk from an Emperor perspective.

What the hell? Is that really strong enough to even convince yourself? (and don't listen to the ones patting you in the back for fingering someone else than themselves)
So you (and others) understand when I say Silanah is most probably a finder, using the fact that Emurlahn had put me in the spotlight, made a find on me last night, found me not in her faction, and is trying to trick you into a vote that arranges her.
